The Mortgage Servicing Specialist will assist members in a courteous and professional manner while maintaining efficiency and accuracy while completing activities pertaining to the mortgage servicing area.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Work Type:</strong> Full-time, on-site at our Larpenteur Administrative office in Falcon Heights, MN&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Major Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p><p>Maintain information on all mortgage loans including payment postings, new loans, updating member information, processing payoffs, curtailments, monthly billing statements, adjustments, escrows, and account research.</p><ul><li>Post mortgage payments, late fees, and payoffs when received and calculate and process mortgage loan payoff requests.</li><li>Process, analyze, and verify Private Mortgage Insurance (PMI) payments/cancellations.</li><li>Perform certain teller functions such as loan booking, error corrections, and loan transfers.</li><li>File active loan files, recorded mortgages, and miscellaneous loan documents.</li><li>Effectively track paid off mortgages and releases.</li><li>Disburse funds from member’s escrow accounts as required by law.</li><li>Manage loss draft requests to ensure collateral is protected.</li><li>Assist with investor reporting, cash remittance, and balancing.</li><li>Answers routine calls and/or walk in questions from members.</li></ul><p><strong>Other Duties</strong></p><ul><li>Comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control</li><li>Regular and predictable attendance</li><li>Exhibit Blaze’s Core Value’s: Better Lives, Thoughtfully Compassionate, Minnesota’s Best, and Give Back</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned to support effective department operation.</li></ul>",
