May develop and implement prevention services over a varied group of topics including substance abuse, mental health, bullying, suicide and other areas as requested.&nbsp;</p><p id=\"isPasted\">Position Description:</p><ul><li>Remain current on Prevention and Education standards and ensure the program provides services in accordance with those standards &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Identify and assess needs of customers/clients</li><li>Utilize supportive educational methods that are appropriate to customer and topic</li><li>Complete service documentation accurately and timely in electronic health record&nbsp;</li><li>Provide both prevention and education services</li><li>Facilitate referral to and/or provide appropriate level of care</li><li>Develop, define and implement realistic, effective and measurable goals and plans for services</li><li>Collect, track and evaluate program data for fidelity and service quality</li><li>Recruit community groups, schools and others for prevention services</li><li>Adhere to professional standards as outlined by protocols, rules and regulations</li><li>Drive for job duties as assigned</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul><p id=\"isPasted\">Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:</p><ul><li>Ability to present important safety information about child abuse, bullying, and dating violence in classrooms for grades K-12</li><li>Excellent organizational and time management skills</li><li>Skill in prevention and education techniques and interventions</li><li>Effective verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Ability to collaborate/interact with wide variety of people</li><li>Knowledge of code of ethics, conflict of interest and regulatory requirements</li><li>Ability to provide documentation and enter data</li><li>Demonstrate professional dress, speech and behavior</li><li>Detach from client issues and view objectively as appropriate to the position</li><li>Ability to interact professionally with students, staff, and co-workers</li></ul><p id=\"isPasted\">Job Requirements:</p><ul><li>Associate&rsquo;s Degree or equivalent work experience as allowed/required by regulatory bodies</li><li>Ohio Certified Prevention Specialist preferred</li></ul><p id=\"isPasted\">Essential Functions/Physical Demands:</p><ul><li>Positional: Driving in accordance with job duties assigned. Occasional standing and walking. Constant sitting.</li><li>Gross Mobility: Rare climbing, or crawling. Infrequent balancing, stooping, kneeling or crouching. Frequent to constant reaching and handling. Lifting and carrying materials to classrooms, no more than 20 pounds.</li><li>Sensory: Rare tasting/smelling. Infrequent use of color vision.
