The talent and dedication of our employees shine through in the exceptional vehicles we produce.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Job Level</span></span></p>\n<p>Technician</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Reports To</span></span></p>\n<p>Paint and Body Manager</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Duties and Responsibilities</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform advanced blocking of body filler, sanding, and primer application.</li>\n<li>Conduct light body repairs on newly manufactured aftermarket body panels.</li>\n<li>Remove and install aftermarket body panels, including doors, hoods, and tailgates.</li>\n<li>Strip, straighten, and accurately gap body panels to precise specifications.</li>\n<li>Execute short and long blocking techniques and apply body fillers.</li>\n<li>Properly tape and mask vehicles to protect adjacent panels from overspray.</li>\n<li>Use materials efficiently and cost-effectively while adhering to company standards.</li>\n<li>Assist fellow technicians with preparation procedures to maintain workflow and meet deadlines.</li>\n<li>Support the painting team by lifting, preparing, sanding, taping, masking, and cleaning vehicles before they enter the paint booth.</li>\n<li>Complete all paint preparation processes as outlined in work orders.</li>\n<li>Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation at all times.</li>\n<li>Document work by taking clear photographs for customer service and internal records.</li>\n<li>Arrive on time with a professional appearance, ready to work at start of shift.</li>\n<li>Adhere to the company dress code and utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.</li>\n<li>Complete daily SOS/sign off sheet.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> <span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Required Skills and Abilities</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Thrive in a fast-paced environment while working independently or on a team.</li>\n<li>Hold a valid driver’s license with reliable daily transportation.</li>\n<li>Adhere to health and safety regulations and use all required protective equipment.</li>\n<li>Communicate professionally with managers, coworkers, and vendors.</li>\n<li>Demonstrate dependability and a strong work ethic, arriving on time each day.</li>\n<li>Availability to work Monday through Friday with occasional overtime evenings and weekends as needed.</li>\n<li>Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Education Background and Experience</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>High school diploma or equivalent required.</li>\n<li>Previous experience in automotive collision repair or a similar environment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Key Performance Indicators (Performance will be tracked by the following data metrics)</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>97% billable hours to payroll</li>\n<li>On time completion <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">&gt;</span> 95%</li>\n<li>% of vehicles hitting hours goals</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Physical Demands (To include but not limited to) </span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prolonged periods of standing or walking around the workspace.</li>\n<li>Frequently lifting heavy objects, such as tools, parts, or equipment, often weighing up to 50-75 pounds.</li>\n<li>Regularly bending, stooping, or crouching to work on vehicles at different heights.</li>\n<li>Moving large or heavy equipment, carts, or vehicles within the shop.</li>\n<li>Precise manipulation of tools, small parts, and diagnostic equipment.</li>\n<li>Continuous use of hands, arms, and fingers for tasks like tightening bolts, sanding, or painting.</li>\n<li>Exposure to loud noises from power tools and machinery.</li>\n<li>Using equipment like impact wrenches or sanders that produce significant vibration.</li>\n<li>Working in non-climate-controlled environments, leading to exposure to heat or cold.</li>\n<li>Potential exposure to dust, fumes, and chemicals like solvents, oils, and paints.
