    "description": "<p><span>We are thrilled to announce a major contract win with Yorkshire Water, supporting them in proactively and reactively maintaining their Wastewater Network for the next five years and beyond!</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span><span>We are currently recruiting for a Capital Projects Planner to join our team, </span></span><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">You will take ownership of planning preventive, planned, and reactive maintenance activities, ensuring all work is delivered within contractual SLAs while optimising travel routes and field productivity through a “Right First Time” approach. Your day-to-day oversight of operational performance will enable you to identify non-completions, reallocate work effectively, and meet our service completion targets.</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span>Working Hours &amp; Location</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Salary</span>: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum</span></li>\n<li><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Shift pattern:<span> Monday - Friday (8am - 4:30pm)</span></span></span></li>\n<li><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Location:</span><span> </span>Sheffield</span><br></li>\n<li><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Holidays:</span> 25 days holiday + Bank holidays</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span><span>About the role:</span></span></span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Collaboration is key in this role. </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">You will work closely with Stores, Supervisors, and key operational stakeholders to ensure jobs are properly prepared, resourced, and executed. </span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">You will also act as a point of contact for customer enquiries, managing issues with professionalism and accountability.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">You will be responsible for maintaining high levels of data accuracy within our work management systems and ensuring that all activities, updates, and escalations are recorded promptly. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Your contributions will extend beyond daily planning—supporting continuous improvement initiatives, participating in scheduled meetings with internal and external stakeholders, and delivering insight that enhances the effectiveness of the wider operations function.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Above all, you will champion operational excellence and customer service, playing an important role in driving consistency, efficiency, and a positive experience for both colleagues and customers</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span><span>Skills</span><span>, </span><span>behaviours</span><span> and </span><span>qualifications</span></span></span><span> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Experienced </span><span>Planner</span><span>, preferably in the Utilities Industry</span></span><span> </span></li>\n<li><span><span>Fantastic Attention to Detail</span></span><span> </span></li>\n<li><span><span>Experience of working within a </span><span>fast-paced</span><span> environment would be a</span><span>n advantage</span><span>.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n<li><span><span>Competent skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n<li><span><span>Customer focused with the desire to provide a fantastic customer </span><span>experience.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Strong understanding of reactive wastewater network maintenance, including repair and survey processes</span><span> would be an advantage.</span></span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Ability to analyse and </span><span>validate</span><span> operational data to ensure </span><span>accurate</span><span> scheduling.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Experience managing works requiring customer access and traffic management considerations</span><span> would be an advantage.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Familiarity with scheduling software and operational planning tools used within </span><span>the </span><span>water industry contracts</span><span> would be an advantage.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">This position is open to Internal and External candidates.  Any internal candidates currently employed within a division of the Lanes Group must complete an Internal Application form and submit to recruitment.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>The Lanes Group plc comprises of a range of established service providers subsidiaries, which complement the specialist service of Lanes, by both work type and geography.
