    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><div class=\"fr-view\"><u id=\"isPasted\"><strong>ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES&nbsp;</strong></u>The Crane Operator will operate the crane or other assigned equipment in a safe and productive manner. &nbsp;Additional duties will include, but will not be limited to, conducting and attending safety meetings, JSAs, running a boat, operating other equipment, and performing maintenance duties, with the primary focus on safe overall operations aboard company equipment. &nbsp;The pay and duties of this position are contingent upon maintaining an NCCCO certification.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;This position will be under the direct supervision of the Leverman.&nbsp;</div><ul><li><div class=\"fr-view\">Operation of crane and other assigned equipment&nbsp;</div></li><li><div class=\"fr-view\">Conducting JSAs (Job Safety Analysis) on your shift</div></li><li><div class=\"fr-view\">Conducting monthly drills on your shift</div></li><li><div class=\"fr-view\">&nbsp;Proper accounting of time for operations</div></li><li><div class=\"fr-view\">Proper accounting of time</div></li><li><div class=\"fr-view\">Ensure crane, barge and support equipment is maintained in accordance with the maintenance program</div></li><li><div class=\"fr-view\">Keep inventory of spares and consumables</div></li><li><div class=\"fr-view\">Performs other related duties as assigned</div></li><li><div class=\"fr-view\">Participates in Safety and Environmental initiatives that will contribute to compliance of State/Federal regulations and improve existing Company programs.&nbsp;<br><br><u id=\"isPasted\"><strong>QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS&nbsp;</strong></u>&nbsp;<br>The employee must have:&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;</div></li><li><div class=\"fr-view\">A minimum of 5 years of crane experience in the marine construction and dredging industry</div></li><li><div class=\"fr-view\">Understanding of key equipment involved in the dredging process</div></li><li><div class=\"fr-view\">Understanding of maintenance needs of the equipment</div></li><li><div class=\"fr-view\">&nbsp;Ability to work effectively and efficiently with little to no supervision</div></li><li><div class=\"fr-view\">Ability to comply with safety rules and regulations.</div></li><li><div class=\"fr-view\">Ability to work effectively and efficiently</div></li><li><div class=\"fr-view\">Ability to work away from home at remote project locations for extended durations.</div></li><li><div class=\"fr-view\">Must be reliable and motivated.</div></li><li><div class=\"fr-view\">Ability to obtain TWIC.</div></li><li><div class=\"fr-view\">Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors.</div></li><li><div class=\"fr-view\">Competencies: stress management/composure, teamwork, results driven.<br><br><u id=\"isPasted\"><strong>PREFERRED SKILLS PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS&nbsp;<br><br></strong></u>The employee must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable workplace accommodation. The individual must also be able to wear and properly utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to work or visit within areas where it is required. This includes hard hat, safety glasses, life vest, respirators, ear plugs, steel toed shoes, personal flotation devices (PFD&rsquo;s), or other protective equipment as required by the work performed and location the work is being done. &nbsp; &nbsp;<br>In addition, a Crane Operator must also be capable of:<br><br></div></li><li><div class=\"fr-view\">Walking, stepping, climbing, or otherwise moving from one location on the job site to another, which may be of varying heights and access parameters.&nbsp;</div></li><li><div class=\"fr-view\">Standing, stooping, twisting, bending, crouching, kneeling, squatting, climbing, or sitting repetitively and/or for long periods of time.&nbsp;</div></li><li><div class=\"fr-view\">Repetitive movements by feet, shoulders, arms, wrists, hands and back in performance of work.&nbsp;</div></li><li><div class=\"fr-view\">Must be able to lift and carry 30lbs individually.
