    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Purpose</span></p>\n<p>As a Medical Simulation Operator, you will set up, operate, and troubleshoot simulation equipment while facilitating realistic training scenarios. Your expertise will directly contribute to improving medical readiness and battlefield trauma response. </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<p>Facilitate medical simulation training and shall be responsible for operating part-task trainers, mannequin-based simulators, surgical simulators, and cadavers (site specific cases). Contribute to the design, development, testing, and implementation of training materials and scenarios. Be prepared to provide support as needed to MMS TPOC with the above requirements. This work shall support Military Health System (MHS) medical simulation activities.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Be responsible for setting up simulation supplies/equipment in support of training scenarios targeted to meet identified learning objectives.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Operate simulation equipment, task trainers, computerized simulators, virtual reality, and other emerging technologies, and shall make appropriate adjustments based on participant actions or inactions.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Utilize approved training scenarios when available and applicable and shall provide feedback on improvements through/to the MMS TPOC or designated representative.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Operate, maintain, and debrief simulation-related audio-video recording systems.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Coordinate and provide support for student logistics, and administrative support needs. Assist the Program Administrator with coordination of simulation site travel requirements and with post-trip report tracking, documentation, and follow up actions.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Facilitate simulation training and provide feedback to the MMS TPOC and/or site leadership.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Support the creation of troubleshooting documents, simulator checklists, and simulation lesson plans/scenarios for simulation equipment. These products shall be forwarded to the MMS TPOC or designated representative for review. Assist simulation sites with train-the-trainer activities and basic equipment troubleshooting for the purpose of training new simulation staff.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Provide oversight of all simulation encounters to include after action reports (AAR) and any identified metrics of simulation training.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Update monthly simulation encounters and other identified metrics, forward, and coordinate this information to the MMS TPOC monthly.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Provide an orientation to simulation equipment and the training space and shall provide a safety briefing to newly assigned personnel and students.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Ensure reasonable timeliness of response, from time of customer request for operational/corporate support/assistance – response within 3 business days and resolution of issues within 30 calendar days. Program management must be notified of any deviation from this schedule prior to a missing suspense.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Assist with site visits as needed to accomplish MMAST objectives and to evaluate training effectiveness in accordance with MMAST policies and procedures. Assist sites and the MMS TPOC in defining funding and equipment requirements, based on training goals, and shall work cooperatively with Program Administration and Medical Logistics in efforts to satisfy these identified requirements.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Perform duties as the technical trainer and resource liaison in activities related to simulation operations. Plan, coordinate, and execute the support of designated conferences, conventions, and workshops, to include logistics, budgeting, and registration. When called upon, assist other Contractors as they pursue similar activities. Plan and execute actions related to marketing and public awareness of events, exhibits, and conferences such as invitations, publications announcements, letters, and printed materials. Exhibitions, booths, and presentations shall be professionally executed.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Post training event close out to include maintenance reports following the completion of a training event.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Minimum Education &amp; Experience:</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>  Associate degree or higher in Healthcare, Education, or a related technical field.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Relevant Military Occupational Specialties (MOS):<br>•    Army: 68W (Combat Medic), 18D (Special Operations Medical Sergeant)<br>•    Navy: HM (Hospital Corpsman)<br>•    Air Force: 4N0X1 (Aerospace Medical Service)<br>•    Marine Corps: HM assigned to Marine units<br>•    Coast Guard: HS (Health Services Technician)</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Technical &amp; Instructional Experience:<br>•    3+ years as a simulation technician/trainer (healthcare simulation experience preferred).<br>•    Prior service as a U.S. Armed Forces medic strongly preferred.<br>•    Proficiency in simulation technologies (human patient simulators, task trainers, VR systems).<br>•    Ability to troubleshoot and maintain complex simulation equipment.<br>•    Experience leading train-the-trainer programs and providing constructive feedback.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p>Adaptability &amp; Travel:<br>•    Work at designated simulation site with travel as necessary.<br>•    Prior deployment experience (Iraq, Afghanistan, or similar) is a plus.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Ideal Candidate:<br>•    Prior military medic with combat or deployment experience.<br>•    Technically skilled in simulation equipment &amp; training facilitation.<br>•    Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"> About Alakaʻi Services Group Inc. / Poʻe Hana Group, Inc.</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Alaka‘i Services Group Inc.
