As a Teacher, you will deliver exceptional instruction and assess student growth. Jackson Leadership Academy Teacher, your core responsibilities include: </span></p>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Instructional Delivery and Assessment:</span></em></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Develop year-long Oklahoma State standards-based unit plans and lesson plans that meet all students’ learning needs.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Use assessment data to modify short and long-term plans in order to promote all students’ academic performance.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Embrace and incorporate feedback in the spirit of constant improvement.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Academic and Cultural Support: </span></em></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Collaborate with content and grade-level teams to promote an environment of critical thinking and academic rigor.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Establish and maintain working relationships with students and families based on trust and respect.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Participate in the daily functions of the school such as morning, lunch, and afternoon supervisory duties.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Attend critical school events such as staff meetings, open houses, and parent-teacher conferences.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Develop individualized learning plans for students and communicate these plans to families in parent meetings and conferences.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Meet professional obligations including timeliness and consistency in meeting deadlines.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 22px\">Qualifications</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Skills and Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Demonstrated knowledge of core subject area assigned</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Must be considered highly-qualified based on NCLB guidelines, if applicable</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Satisfactory outcome of a background check.
