Perform inspection and maintenance on forklifts and hand trucks.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:</strong></p><ul><li>Review scheduled Purchase Orders for incoming deliveries</li><li>Notify Quality Assurance on arrival of all incoming material for quality check</li><li>Compare information on purchase order to information on Bill of Lading and packing list</li><li>Unload trucks using either forklift</li><li>Record count, pack size and lot numbers on receiving ticket</li><li>Record any discrepancies in count, pack size or damage on Bill of Lading</li><li>Sign necessary paperwork to acknowledge receipt of delivery</li><li>Record receipt of materials in Receiving Book</li><li>Store ingredients received in appropriate warehouse location</li><li>Rotate stock according to First Expired lot code</li><li>Restack product on pallets, if necessary</li><li>Refer to Work Orders for orders to be blended during shift</li><li>Check daily production schedule and blending order</li><li>Pull Work Order and record start time</li><li>Pull raw ingredients for the rest of the blend from the warehouse</li><li>Verify weights and product numbers of ingredients pulled</li><li>Record lot numbers of ingredients on Work Order</li><li>Stage the raw ingredients to be blended in the Blending Staging Area</li><li>Advise Quality Assurance of blends in Staging Area</li><li>Pull daily orders</li><li>Record lot numbers and piece count on picking ticket</li><li>Verify product label, quantity, and weight of each product</li><li>Palletize large shipments using stretch wrap and affix proper pallet label</li><li>Place packing slip on shipment</li><li>Enter shipping information into computer for all UPS and/or Fed X Ground shipments</li><li>Clean work area at end of shift</li><li>Inspect Truck/Trailer to ensure product safety, cleanliness, etc.</li><li>Perform housekeeping tasks in warehouse as necessary</li><li>Perform other related duties as assigned</li></ul><p><u><strong>1st Shift - 8:00 am - 4:30 pm - Monday thru Friday</strong></u></p>",
