The Vice President will play a crucial role in leading the growth of the practice and the delivery of projects involving site layout and civil engineering design and planning, ensuring their successful completion while adhering to quality standards, safety protocols, and project timelines. Our mission is to be the “go-to” firm in our areas of specialty—trusted advisers on the most challenging and rewarding projects in the region.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p><strong>Leadership</strong></p>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Lead and grow LiRo-Hill’s Site/Civil Engineering practice across our regions of operation.</li>\n   <li>Develop and maintain strong relationships with municipal, private, and institutional clients.</li>\n   <li>Proactively engage in business development, proposal preparation, and pursuit strategies.</li>\n   <li>Supervise, mentor, and develop local engineering staff to achieve both technical and professional growth.</li>\n   <li>Oversee staffing plans, project assignments, and performance reviews.</li>\n   <li>Track and manage project financial performance and revenue projections on a monthly and quarterly basis.</li>\n   <li>Represent LiRo-Hill at industry conferences, professional associations, and client events.</li>\n  </ul><p><strong>Technical</strong></p>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Oversee a wide range of civil engineering analysis and design tasks including:zoning analysis, site planning, stormwater management, utility layout, transportation planning/design, parking layout, vehicle maneuvering analysis, roadway/pavement/grading design, and site utility replacement.</li>\n   <li>Lead coordination and presentations with local municipalities, utilities, environmental agencies, and town/county planning boards.</li>\n   <li>Conduct site investigations to document existing conditions.</li>\n   <li>Supervise the preparation of project plans, design calculations, and specifications, ensuring coordination with other design disciplines.</li>\n   <li>Perform QA/QC reviews of design documents and bid packages.</li>\n   <li>Provide technical guidance and problem-solving during construction administration.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (Master’s degree a plus)</li>\n <li>14+ years of progressive experience in site and civil engineering</li>\n <li>New York Professional Engineer (PE) license required</li>\n <li>Proven leadership in delivering projects for DOT/DPW/Highway Departments and large local municipalities</li>\n <li>Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills</li>\n <li>Ability to guide, delegate, and mentor engineering and drafting staff</li>\n <li>Deep understanding of local code and permitting requirements</li>\n <li>Track record of winning and delivering work through strong client relationships</li>\n <li>Ability to multitask and consistently meet deadlines</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are committed to your success, and we invest in your growth and development to unlock your full potential.</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Competitive Total Compensation Package</li>\n <li>Employee- Only Stock Purchase Plan</li>\n <li>Mentoring programs</li>\n <li>Continuing Education Program</li>\n <li>Employee referral bonus</li>\n <li>Volunteer/Industry association opportunities</li>\n <li>Opportunities to participate in professional associations and community impact initiatives</li>\n <li>A collaborative, inclusive culture that values diverse perspectives and fosters innovation</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Our Culture:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We believe in the power of collaboration.
