The position communicates with co-workers, and maintains a safe, organized and clean work environment.</p><p><strong>Essential Functions:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Read job specifications such as blueprints, calipers, and measurements to determine layout and procedures with supervision</li><li>Determine the appropriate equipment and methods based on requirements</li><li>Set up, adjust and operate equipment to fabricate parts to specifications</li><li>Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety</li><li>Ensure work is done safely, consistently and meets quality standards</li><li>Monitor work equipment to ensure usage is within optimum temperature to avoid overheating or expansion</li><li>Operate manual and semi-automatic welding equipment in vertical, horizontal, or overhead positions to weld structural metal to specifications</li><li>Inspect weld surfaces and structure to ensure accuracy and discover flaws</li><li>Tacks assemblies together</li><li>Repair improperly welded pieces and fill holes</li><li>Identify, tag and remove non-conforming materials</li><li>Accurately complete all required paperwork in a timely manner</li><li>Communicate with other departments as necessary</li><li>Keep work areas clean and organized</li><li>Adhere to all company rules and policies</li><li>Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor<strong>&nbsp;</strong></li></ul><p>&nbsp;#ZR</p></td></tr></tbody></table><p><br></p></div>\n",
