We are looking for a candidate that possesses the following skills; a high school diploma or equivalent, math aptitude, and keyboarding skills. We are Family, Friends, Community.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>ADDITIONAL REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li>At least 1 year of related experience, or Degree in related field</li><li>Mortgage related experience preferred</li><li>Strong multi-tasking and time management skills, capability to handle high volume of loan requests and work within timeframes</li><li>The ability to work independently while displaying initiative and decision-making</li><li>Exhibits attention to detail and organization skills</li><li>Ability to interface with members in a positive manner with empathy, courtesy and tact</li><li>Professional phone etiquette</li><li>Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Dependable; punctual and regular attendance</li><li>Ability to work well in a team environment and support the credit union&rsquo;s mission and values</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>JOB SUMMARY:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li>Receives, evaluates and reviews loan applications for completeness, accuracy and acceptability</li><li>Audit files to make sure that all documentation is complete; prepares documents for underwriting and closing review</li><li>Perform all processing, pre-underwriting, and pre-closing tasks required to proactively manage mortgage loan files</li><li>Prepares, collect, maintains, organizes, files, records, and manages all documentation related to mortgage applications, real estate collateral and insurance policies</li><li>Ensure that files meet and comply with all Federal, State, and Internal guidelines and regulations</li><li>Setup and assist members with automatic transfers and payroll deductions</li><li>Process telephone transactions</li><li>Research and help members with loan issues; resolving questions regarding application information&nbsp;</li><li>Keeps members and realtors properly informed of Credit Union policies and procedures</li><li>Educating members on the terms and conditions</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Classification:&nbsp;</strong>Non-exempt</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Location:&nbsp;</strong>Administration (Port Neches)</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Hours:</strong> Scheduled for 40-hours per week between the hours of Monday through Friday 8:15AM to 5:15PM</p>\n",
