By offering mentorship and robust Training and Development opportunities, IND<u>US</u> continues its pursuit to be the Employer of Choice. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Shore and Expeditionary Integration Program Office (PMW 790) is acquiring support services in the areas of production systems engineering, logistics, installation management, and integration/planning/requirements services for the architecture, integration, acquisition, and support of multiple shore and expeditionary Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) programs. PMW 790's mission is to acquire, integrate, deliver, and support interoperable shore-based C4I capabilities for the warfighter. PMW 790’s vision is to be the preeminent provider of integrated shore-based transformational Network Centric Warfare capabilities to the warfighter by providing assured connectivity between tactical forces and higher commands. The overarching goal is to ensure C4I systems programmed for installation on Navy ships have matching shore facilities of appropriate capacity to support Fleet deployments worldwide. Our goal is to migrate the shore sites and their terrestrial interconnections into a coherent, scalable, network-centric communications and multiplexing fabric designed to optimize functionality by effecting improvements that both satisfy current shortfalls and, wherever possible, provide the building blocks for future C4I architecture.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Reporting to the Program Manager, the <strong>Drafter/CAD Operator II </strong>designs utilizing computer-aided drafting software to prepare installation drawings on the <strong>PMW 790 Shore and Expeditionary Integration Program Office Planning and Logistics Support Services contract</strong>. The ideal candidate will converse with engineers and other subject matter experts to interpret design concepts, validate drawing requirements, and coordinate work with others. They will use required drafting and mechanical drawing skills, and knowledge of computer-assisted drafting (CAD) equipment and software. This position is located in <strong>Charleston, SC.</strong></p>\n<h2>What You'll Do</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Support Systems Engineers and Senior AutoCAD specialists with Installation Requirements Drawings (IRD), Installation Design Plans (IDP), and As-Built drawings.</li>\n <li>Review IRDs, IDPs, and As-Built drawings to ensure compliance with applicable standards (SIPH and IRD).</li>\n <li>Conduct IDP and IRD reviews to ensure hardware installations are documented in detail and provide necessary guidance for successful installation.</li>\n <li>Conduct surveys of shore sites in support of drawing development efforts.</li>\n <li>Provide guidance to other IRD and IDP developers and reviewers in formal and informal settings; and compile and distribute installation lessons learned related to shore engineering drawing packages to benefit future shore installations.</li>\n <li>Be responsible to various data calls to provide requested information, including research, gathering, sorting and presentation.</li>\n <li>Bid and proposal support if requested.</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What We're Looking For</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>An <strong>active</strong> secret clearance is required to be considered for this position.</li>\n <li>HS Diploma required.</li>\n <li>One (1) or more years of experience in creating AutoCAD drawings such as; network interconnectivity diagrams, floor plans, elevations, building plans, landscapes, maps, electrical, electronic and mechanical details.</li>\n <li>Experience updating existing AutoCAD drawing \"red lines\" to current state.</li>\n <li>Requires organization skills including the ability to communicate complex ideas visually.</li>\n <li>Ability to apply basic math skills to compute scaling and formulas.</li>\n <li>Ability to read, understand, and interpret technical documents.</li>\n <li>Perform job duties under deadlines/scheduling commitments.</li>\n <li>Must possess basic computer literacy and data entry skills. </li>\n <li>Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (to include MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).</li>\n <li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.</li>\n <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills. </li>\n <li>Demonstrated problem-solving skills. </li>\n <li>Must possess strong time management skills. </li>\n <li>Must be able to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment.</li>\n <li>Must be able to remain seated in a stationary position 50% of the time. Must also be able to alternate between sitting, standing, and walking.</li>\n <li>The ability to lift items that may weigh up to 50 pounds.</li>\n <li>~10% travel required.</li>\n <li>Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Desired Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>SPAWAR Shore Installation Handbook version 4.1</li>\n <li>Installation Database (SPIDER and IMO Tracker)</li>\n <li>SPAWAR 4.2 Formatting checklist version 4.1</li>\n <li>FRCB standards and processes</li>\n <li>Military training and background in Advanced Electronics fields.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with networking diagrams, concepts, and components.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be able to remain seated in a stationary position 50% of the time.
