This entry-level role focuses on executing project tasks, conducting analysis, and developing technical and professional skills while contributing to high-quality client service across internal audit and management consulting engagements.</p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Execute and support end-to-end delivery of public sector advisory engagements.</li>\n <li>Perform analyses, testing, interviews, walkthroughs, and documentation to identify risks, process improvements, and insights.</li>\n <li>Prepare high-quality workpapers, reports, and presentations aligned with MGO standards.</li>\n <li>Interact directly with client stakeholders and support trusted advisor relationships.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Advisory Exposure: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Support internal and performance audits, organizational and operational consulting engagements, and other consulting assessments.</li>\n <li>Apply knowledge of public sector operations, governance, and regulatory requirements.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Team & Practice Contribution: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Mentor and coach associates; collaborate effectively with managers and project teams.</li>\n <li>Support proposal development, research, and business development initiatives.</li>\n <li>Contribute to improving methodologies, tools, and best practices.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Business, Public Administration, or related field.</li>\n <li>3+ years of experience in public sector consulting, public accounting, internal audit, or advisory services.</li>\n <li>Experience serving state and local government or public sector clients prefered.</li>\n <li>Progress toward or possession of a professional certification (CPA, CIA, CFE, PMP, CISA, or similar).</li>\n <li>Strong analytical, writing, and presentation skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to travel up to 5–25%.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Compensation:</strong> $85,000-$120,000 + Bonus programs</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>#LI-Hybrid #LI-Remote</em></p>",
