    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Information Technology (IT) Manager</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Manage and mentor the IT team, ensuring a high level of performance and professional development</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Establish metrics to demonstrate IT SLA is meeting business and security objectives, and leverage as source for continuous improvements</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Plan and execute IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Security Management: Maintain ISO 27001 Information security controls to protect company data and systems</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Manage Budget by tracking contract renewals, project spend, contractors and participate in roadmap exercises for forecast future investment</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Vendor Management: Liaise with external vendors and service providers to negotiate contracts and manage service agreements</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Ensure timely support and troubleshooting for all end-users, improving overall user experience</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Policy Development: Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance and operational efficiency</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Continuously assess and integrate new technologies to enhance operations, making recommendations for improvements</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-style: italic\">This is a hybrid opportunity based in our Kitchener office 2-3 days per week</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Requirements:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">5 years experience in IT management or a similar role</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and operations</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Experience with project management methodologies</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Excellent communication and leadership skills</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Knowledge of ISO 27001 principles and practices</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Familiarity with budgeting and financial management</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP) are a plus</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Hands on experience and deep understanding of technologies, controls, and standard methodologies (e.g., Google Workspace, AWS, Azure, SAML, MFA, SSO)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Successfully complete pre-employment onboarding requirements that may include criminal/civil background checks</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Applicants must be currently authorized to work in Canada for any employer</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Avidbots is an equal opportunity employer committed to building a diverse workforce.
