Essential Functions Design, develop, and maintain organizational training curriculum aligned with operational needs, compliance requirements, and staff development goals. Facilitate organizational training programs, including but not limited to MANDT, Mental Health First Aid, and CPR/First Aid. Leverage the organization’s learning management system to build, assign, monitor, and report on training completion and effectiveness. Travel as needed to deliver in-person training and support learning initiatives across organizational locations. Support the development, implementation, and ongoing coordination of the organization’s career pathways program. Ensure all training activities are accurately tracked, documented, and uploaded into VOANR’s learning management system in a timely manner. Track training data and information to monitor training progress and identify any trends in training retention and comprehension. Act as a backup to the front desk as needed. Competencies Communicates clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, to deliver training and provide instruction. Applies a solutions-oriented, servant leadership approach to addressing training needs and supporting staff. Maintains ethical practice standards and upholds organizational values. Demonstrates strong organizational skills by effectively prioritizing tasks, managing multiple deadlines, and maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment. Consistently demonstrates behaviors aligned with servant leadership and the organization’s cultural values. Supervisory Responsibility This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but may serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the organization. Work Environment  This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, photocopiers, and smartphones. Physical Demands The physical demands described here represent those that an employee must meet to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand on a stool as necessary. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position.  Days and hours of work are generally Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Travel Travel is required for this position.
