    "description_html": "<p>Her PLAN seeks an energetic and outcome-oriented <strong>Community Development Coordinator or Director, depending on experience</strong>, with a passion for rallying communities to care for moms and their children. &nbsp;This position will be located in Missouri &nbsp;&nbsp;and work within communities in Missouri.</p><p><br></p><p>&nbsp;In this role, you will bring together community leaders at the local and state level to assess, connect, and grow support services that help women in need carry to term and parent. You will develop deep relationships through the Her Community model and strengthen the pro-life safety net by identifying gaps in services and fostering collaboration among providers.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>The strength of the pro-life safety net is assessed through the lens of resources available in each of seven categories of care (see below). You will create opportunities for collaboration among assistance providers in all seven categories to maximize their ability to serve pregnant and parenting women and identify gaps in the community’s pro-life safety net.</p><p><br></p><p>The Her PLAN Pathways Program offers trusted and tested models to fill those gaps. You will help communities identify the best pathways for their community and help them plan their next steps.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>1. Care coordination and mentorship</p><p>2. Health and well-being</p><p>3. Financial assistance, work or education</p><p>4. Material or legal support</p><p>5. Recovery and mental health</p><p>6. Prenatal diagnosis</p><p>7. Care for children&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>This is a full-time position and supervised by a Her PLAN Deputy Director. The Community Coordinator will work remotely with frequent travel within the state and occasional travel to Her PLAN headquarters in Arlington, VA.&nbsp; You will also help communities implement the <strong>Her PLAN Pathways Program</strong> to identify solutions and take next steps.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Coordinator vs. Director Level Distinction</strong>&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Coordinator:</strong> Focuses on executing established strategies, building community relationships, and implementing engagement efforts.</p><p><br><strong>Director:</strong> Leads state or regional strategy, expands the Her Community model, and contributes to organizational development, training, and scaling efforts.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Essential Functions (All levels)</strong></p><ul><li>Build a robust network of leaders and assistance providers (statewide and in Her Communities) through strong relationships, creative networking and collaboration. Strategic relationships include leaders in churches, ministries, government, business and healthcare.</li><li>Educate community members/leaders on who the abortion vulnerable woman is and the challenges she faces.</li><li>Bolster the pro-life safety net by partnering with community organizations to fill gaps in resources.</li><li>Develop a roadmap for long-term community engagement.</li><li>Plan and execute significant events for assistance providers and/or community organizations, members, and leaders.</li><li>Introduce assistance providers to Her PLAN Directory and encourage referrals through the Directory. Provide training on how to use the Directory to interested assistance providers.</li><li>Serve as a liaison between Her PLAN team and specific state community organizations and assistance providers.</li><li>Leverage relationships to enhance the services being provided to women and families.</li></ul><p><em><strong>Additional Director-Level Responsibilities</strong></em></p><ul><li>Lead statewide or regional community development strategy and expansion.</li><li>Launch and scale new Her Communities with measurable outcomes.</li><li>Train, onboard, and mentor Community Development Coordinators.</li><li>Provide ongoing coaching, problem-solving support, and strategic guidance to team members.</li><li>Contribute to organizational systems, processes, and program development.</li><li>Develop training content, playbooks, and educational materials.</li><li>Provide field insights to inform organizational strategy and growth.</li></ul>",
