At ENFRA, stability, innovation, and growth are more than just values—they are the pillars of our continued success.</p>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The Electrical Apprentice I is responsible for assistance of installations, alterations, additions and/or repairs to electrical systems conductors and associated materials and equipment within the residential, commercial and industrial electrical industry.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Assist electricians by performing tasks, material handling under the direct supervision of an assigned electrician installing the work.</li>\n <li>Employee should keep all materials, tools and equipment in an orderly fashion and maintain a clean work area at all times demonstrating safe work habits and proper care of tools and equipment.</li>\n <li>Clearly understand and comply with Company/Job Safety Requirements. (OSHA).</li>\n <li>Report to assigned job site location on time as directed.</li>\n <li>Maintain and properly store tools and equipment.</li>\n <li>Proper use and safely handle tools, equipment and materials.</li>\n <li>Accurately organize materials and tools in order to maintain clean and neat work area.</li>\n <li>Assist in wire pulls.</li>\n <li>Properly mount and install assigned work, conduit, wires, strapping as directed.</li>\n <li>Accurately identify colors of wires & conductors.</li>\n <li>Work from all types of ladders.</li>\n <li>Work in restrictive/tight areas. (i.e. switchgear rooms, crawl spaces, utility tunnels, attics, etc.).</li>\n <li>Must be capable of digging trenches by use of hand tools.</li>\n <li>Accurately read labels, job site maps/directions, instruction manuals and written instructions.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<h4>Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications</h4>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or holder of GED or equivalent.</li>\n <li>Must meet entry criteria for Apprenticeship Schooling.</li>\n <li>Must be enrolled in an approved Apprenticeship Program.</li>\n <li>Ability to quickly learn hand conduit bending that will ensure timely installations.</li>\n <li>Ability to use 2 handed tools/equipment (i.e. cable cutters, hammer drills, compression tools, jack hammers, etc.)</li>\n <li>Employee must have ability to acquire/maintain personal hand tools as directed.</li>\n <li>Valid driver's license and have own transportation. (Note: Public transportation does not always serve most sites.</li>\n <li>Employee must have ability to operate platform lift.</li>\n <li>Employee must possess ability to understand basic math.</li>\n <li>Must understand verbal instructions and heed warnings.</li>\n <li>Required to attend Apprenticeship Classes and Functions.</li>\n <li>Maintain passing grades during semesters in the Apprenticeship Program.</li>\n <li>Effective verbal and written communication skills.</li>\n <li>Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.</li>\n <li>Versed in the industry and the Company's competitors.</li>\n <li>Ability to multitask and perform duties outside of the scope of work when necessary.</li>\n</ul>\n<h4>Preferred Education, Experience, and Qualifications</h4>\n<ul>\n <li>N/A</li>\n</ul>\n<h4>Travel Requirements</h4>\n<ul>\n <li>5-10% of time will be spent traveling to job site(s)/office location.</li>\n</ul>\n<h4>Physical Activities</h4>\n<ul>\n <li>Ascending and descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles</li>\n <li>Climbing stairs.</li>\n <li>Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces</li>\n <li>Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers</li>\n <li>Operating machinery and/or power tools</li>\n</ul>\n<h4>Environmental Conditions</h4>\n<ul>\n <li>Noisy environment</li>\n <li>Outdoor elements such as precipitation and wind</li>\n</ul>\n<h4>Physical Demands</h4>\n<ul>\n <li>Light work that includes adjusting and/or moving objects up to 20 pounds</li>\n</ul>\n<h2></h2>\n<p>ENFRA is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer of Minorities, Women, Protected Veterans, and Individuals with Disabilities, and participates in the e-Verify program.
