In this role, you&#39;ll be a critical member of our leadership team, helping the business operate with clarity and confidence.&nbsp;</p><p>This is not a &ldquo;keep the lights on&rdquo; job. This is a role for someone who loves the numbers, sees the story behind them, and knows how to build the structure and systems that bring financial clarity to a growing company.</p><h2><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">What You&rsquo;ll Do</span></h2><ul><li>Develop and maintain strong internal controls, accounting policies, inventory valuation methods, and product costing processes.</li><li>Produce financial reports, dashboards, and analysis to support leadership in decision-making.</li><li>Lead the monthly close process and deliver accurate, timely financial reporting across all business entities.&nbsp;</li><li>Develop and manage budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking processes in partnership with operations.</li><li>Maintain and enhance use of QuickBooks and our custom MRP system, ensuring efficiency and reliability.</li><li>Manage and optimize cash flow while overseeing all reporting and compliance related to banking and lender relationships.</li><li>Manage a small accounting team and oversee payroll and benefits administration through our PEO partner.</li><li>Coordinate with external CPA on financial statements and tax filings.</li><li>Oversee special programs such as our customer co-op and property-related accounting.</li><li>Drive ongoing improvement in accounting systems and support future ERP evaluation and implementation.</li></ul><h2><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">What You Bring</span></h2><ul><li>7+ years of accounting leadership experience, ideally in a manufacturing or distribution environment.</li><li>Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and multi-entity reporting.</li><li>Deep experience with inventory accounting and product costing methods.</li><li>Proven ability to establish and lead management accounting processes as well as lead a high-performing accounting function.</li><li>Experience managing cash flow, banking relationships, and lender compliance.</li><li>Hands-on QuickBooks experience; comfort with custom or home-grown MRP systems.</li><li>A love of numbers &mdash; you don&rsquo;t just report them, you interpret and explain the story behind them.</li><li>A collaborative leader who communicates well and builds trust across teams.</li><li>Experience in the wood products industry is a plus.</li></ul><h2><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Why You&rsquo;ll Love It Here</span></h2><ul><li>You&#39;ll make a direct impact and help build something meaningful.</li><li>You&#39;ll work closely with smart, motivated, good people &mdash; without corporate red tape.</li><li>You&#39;ll join a company with a strong foundation, a great reputation, and a vision for growth.</li><li>You&rsquo;ll be valued for your leadership, your ideas, your positive attitude and your integrity.</li></ul><h2><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Compensation &amp; Benefits</span></h2><ul><li>Competitive compensation package commensurate with experience</li><li>Performance-based bonus potential</li><li>Comprehensive benefits including health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off</li><li>Additional perks and benefits offered through our PEO partner</li><li>A culture that values impact, trust, and professional growth</li></ul><p>This is a great role for someone who loves the work and wants to contribute meaningfully to a company with momentum &mdash; and a future full of opportunity.</p></div></div></div>\n",
