Responsibilities include: </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Performs comprehensive telephone assessment to primarily pediatric patients by utilizing symptom-based protocols for all telephone encounters that require triage or advice.</li>\n <li>Understands and follow established policy and procedure under minimal supervision as well as make decisions within established clinical nursing standards and protocols.</li>\n <li>Manages multiple priorities by listening, assessing, speaking and transcribing patient information in computer.</li>\n <li>Facilitates referrals to primary care providers, specialists, healthcare facilities, and community resources and communication with providers and healthcare organizations as appropriate.</li>\n <li>Demonstrates problem solving skills, utilizes protocols and initiates solutions to facilitate the telephone encounter to an appropriate and timely disposition.</li>\n <li>Acts as a liaison between providers, care coordinators, hospital, urgent care facility, and other health care providers.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What We're Looking For:</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.</li>\n <li>Experience: Preferred 3 years nursing experience in emergency medicine, medical surgical, case management, intensive care urgent care or pediatric outpatient clinics.</li>\n <li>Evidence of excellent oral and written communication, high level of current clinical knowledge</li>\n <li>Basic PC skills including Windows Operating System and Electronic Health Records. Typing skills of 30 WPM</li>\n <li>Bilingual preferred, but not required.</li>\n <li>Certification/Licensure Specific Requirements:\n  <ul>\n   <li>RN: RN currently licensed to practice in North Carolina</li>\n   <li>CPR</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>About Blue Ridge Health:</h2>\n<p>At Blue Ridge Health our mission is to improve Health, inspire Hope, and advance Healing through access to Compassionate, Affordable, and Quality Care.
