    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">YRH Inc. is looking for several serious, determined and team-oriented candidates to offer them a permanent position in the Halifax area as well as, depending on interest and profile, in the offices of some of the cellular operators in the Halifax area. Candidates need to be members of the Engineers of Nova Scotia as they will be directly involved in 4G/5G and DAS deployments.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Tasks and responsabilities :</span></span></p>\n<p><span>Under the supervision of the Engineering Manager or of the Customer's Project Manager, you will be responsible for:</span></p>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span> </span><span>RF, cellular and distributed antenna systems (DAS) design; </span></li>\n<li><span> </span><span>Requirements definition and network analysis ;</span></li>\n<li><span> </span><span>Simulations using modeling tools such as: InfoVista Planet, IBWave, Ekahau including defining propagation models, 4G/5G frame structure and simulation parameters;</span></li>\n<li><span> </span><span>Design of passive and active DAS systems, small cell, micro cell, pico cell;</span></li>\n<li><span> </span><span>Link budgets, coverage and capacity planning of LTE, 5G-NR, and Wi-Fi networks;</span></li>\n<li><span> </span><span>Design of cellular networks using LTE, LTE+, 5G-NR, Wi-Fi technologies; </span></li>\n<li><span> </span><span>Design of private cellular networks for Industry 4.0 and critical infrastructure operators such as Manufacturers and processors of critical materials, mines, commercial and passenger rail, and electric utilities;</span></li>\n<li><span> </span><span>Creating BOM and CAPEX and OPEX estimates for cellular and Wi-Fi networks;</span></li>\n<li><span> </span><span>Drafting of functional and technical specifications and requirements;</span></li>\n<li><span> </span><span>Drafting of specifications and performance estimates;</span></li>\n<li><span> </span><span>Selection and design of RF transmission sites ;</span></li>\n<li><span> </span><span>Development of interconnection specifications;</span></li>\n<li><span> </span><span>Follow-up of network expertise and optimization ;</span></li>\n<li><span> </span><span>Quality of service audit for DAS and small cell installations;</span></li>\n<li><span> </span><span>Cellular coverage and performance measurements - walk-test &amp; drive-test.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Profile and requirements : </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Electrical or computer engineering degree from a recognized engineering school;</span></li>\n<li><span>Member of <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><em>Engineers Nova Scotia</em></span></span><span>;</span></li>\n<li><span>5 to 8 years of experience related to the RF domain;</span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: windowtext;\">Knowledge with cellular network using technologies </span><span>LTE, LTE+, 5G-NR, Wi-Fi;</span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Knowledge and experience in the Maritime market (operators and infrastructure present); </span></li>\n<li><span>Working knowledge of modelling tools such as: InfoVista Planet, Ekahau, IBWave (IBWave level 2 certification an asset); </span></li>\n<li><span>Participation to telecom projects such as cellular network and DAS design projects;</span></li>\n<li><span>Knowledge of interference issues, Safety Code 6, micro-waves interconnexion or optic fiber;</span></li>\n<li><span>Knowledge of service deployment issues;</span></li>\n<li><span>Planning, design, coordination and project management; </span></li>\n<li><span>Autonomous, responsible, and self-motivated; </span></li>\n<li><span>Good verbal and written communication skills;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: windowtext;\">Must be able to travel around Halifax region.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">What we have to offer:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Regular full-time position: 37.5h/week, possibility of paid overtime</span></li>\n<li><span>Competitive compensation plan</span></li>\n<li><span>Stimulating work environment and team</span></li>\n<li><span>Remote work policy and flexible hours</span></li>\n<li><span>Group insurance plan including dental</span></li>\n<li><span>Access to an EAP (Employee Assistance Program) and telemedicine upon hiring</span></li>\n<li><span>Annual wellness budget upon hiring</span></li>\n<li><span>Group retirement plan upon hiring</span></li>\n<li><span>Training and skills development program</span></li>\n<li><span>Time off accumulating upon hiring</span></li>\n<li><span>Office closed between Christmas and New Year's Day</span></li>\n<li><span>Computer equipment provided for working from home</span><br></li>\n</ul>",
