The ideal candidate will be adept at estimating complex projects involving structural steel fabrication, erection, equipment setting, and piping, with a proven ability to manage project estimates up to $50 million.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">This role also involves soliciting and evaluating subcontractor and vendor pricing for multiple trades, including concrete/civil, electrical, and specialty subcontractors. Occasional travel to job sites across the country is required.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-weight: bold\"><br><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities </span><br></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\"> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Develop detailed cost estimates for industrial construction projects, from concept to final proposal.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Analyze project documentation (drawings, specifications, RFIs) to identify scope, risks, and opportunities for value engineering.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Perform detailed quantity take-offs and pricing for structural steel fabrication, erection, equipment setting, and piping.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Solicit, evaluate, and negotiate pricing from subcontractors and vendors across various trades (concrete/civil, electrical, etc.).</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Collaborate with project management, engineering, and procurement teams to ensure accurate scoping and budgeting.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Prepare comprehensive bid proposals and present estimates to leadership and clients.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Identify cost-saving measures and propose alternative solutions to meet client needs.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Stay current on industry trends, material costs, and construction best practices.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Ensure estimates align with company goals and profitability targets.</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-weight: bold\"><br><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">Qualifications</span><br></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\"> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">10–15 years of experience in industrial construction estimating.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">In-depth knowledge of structural steel fabrication/erection, equipment setting, and piping.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Experience managing estimates for projects up to $50 million.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Proficiency in subcontractor/vendor solicitation across multiple trades, including civil, concrete, and electrical.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Expertise in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, Procore, Sage Estimating) and Microsoft Office Suite.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and bid documents.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required).</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Willingness to travel as needed.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-weight: bold\"><br><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">Physical Requirements</span><br></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">The demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
