The Physical Therapist position provides evaluation and therapy services, including direct patient care, patient/family education and transition of care, in an efficient, age-appropriate, and culturally sensitive manner upon licensed independent practitioner referral.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We have an opportunity for a Per Diem / On Call Physical Therapist to join our Rehab team. This is a  non-exempt and benefits eligible position. The pay range for this position is $44.50 - $66.75 per hour.  Compensation is determined based on years of experience and departmental equity.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Provides comprehensive, compliant, and safe clinical care demonstrating the philosophy of family centered care, a commitment to the achievement of optimal patient outcomes in alignment with the standards of practice of their professional organization.</li>\n <li>Works with the medical staff and the multidisciplinary team to design and implement individualized plans of care to meet the needs of the pediatric patients and their family.</li>\n <li>Functions as a team member and develops leadership skills through activities such as: mentoring, and providing education to students and other professionals.</li>\n <li>Supports the ongoing development and improvement of the department through participation in special projects, performance improvement and facility committees.</li>\n <li>Responsible for professional growth and development through ongoing education and research in alignment with hospital’s patient care and strategic direction.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education</strong></p>\n<p>Bachelors degree in Physical Therapy. </p>\n<p><strong>Certification/Licensure</strong></p>\n<p>licensed in state of practice required</p>\n<p>American Heart Assosciation Basic Life Support Certification required</p>\n<p>PCS, OCS, NCS and CHT preferred</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Skills</strong></p>\n<p>1 year physical therapy experience preferred</p>\n<p>New graduates considered</p>\n<p>Pediatric and/or Sports experience preferred</p>\n<p> </p>",
