Overview Child Neurologist - Topeka The Division of Child Neurology at Children’s Mercy Kansas City is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Child Neurologist to join a pediatric neurologist in Topeka, KS. The duties of the position are primarily clinical. The patient population is diverse in this busy practice, which draws from a large region in Kansas. Our physicians also participate in outreach clinics in two surrounding Kansas cities. Inpatient care at one hospital in Topeka is managed by hospitalists, with the neurologists serving as consultants. Teleconferencing allows for participation in Children’s Mercy educational activities and conferences. Colleagues in Kansas City are accessible for professional discussions and consultation. The Division of Neurology at Children’s Mercy includes 21 Child Neurologists, 14 nurse practitioners, nurse practitioners, social workers, and nursing staff. Teaching opportunities through the Pediatrics Residency, Child Neurology residency, Epilepsy, Headache and Neuropsychology fellowships.
