Our mission is to consistently provide the ultimate solution for high-value working environments through continuous investment in our people, technology, and processes.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About the Job:</span></p>\n<p>We are currently seeking a number of experienced <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Black Hat Supervisors</span> to oversee the safe and efficient delivery of high value UK projects. This role involves managing on-site activities, coordinating subcontractors, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, and maintaining high levels of quality and productivity. The successful candidate will play a key part in ensuring that all work is completed safely, on time, within budget, and in line with Ardmac’s operational standards.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Safety:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Deliver all site activities in accordance with Ardmac’s <em>Safety First Guiding Principles</em>.</li>\n<li>Ensure site-specific inductions are completed for all personnel under Ardmac’s control.</li>\n<li>Develop and implement safe systems of work and task-specific risk assessments.</li>\n<li>Ensure contract-specific safety statements are maintained as live documents throughout the project lifecycle.</li>\n<li>Implement effective control measures in public and occupied spaces to protect all who may be affected by the works.</li>\n<li>Provide instruction and training to operatives and subcontractors on emergency procedures, risk assessments, and safe working methods.</li>\n<li>Review subcontractor safety documentation for adequacy and compliance.</li>\n<li>Regularly inspect, monitor, and record on-site activities to ensure safety standards are upheld.</li>\n<li>Seek support and advice from the Safety Department when required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Construction:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Supervise daily site operations and ensure works are completed safely, on time, and to the required quality.</li>\n<li>Chair and document regular subcontractor coordination meetings.</li>\n<li>Maintain accurate daily site diaries, highlighting progress, labour, and any issues encountered.</li>\n<li>Manage materials, plant, and equipment to avoid loss, damage, or unnecessary hire costs.</li>\n<li>Assist in identifying and raising RFIs (Requests for Information) as required.</li>\n<li>Support the Project Manager in monitoring progress against the construction programme.</li>\n<li>Ensure supervision and operatives understand their roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations.</li>\n<li>Monitor the implementation of site logistics, access, and welfare arrangements.</li>\n<li>Promote effective communication and collaboration between all site stakeholders.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Quality:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure works are carried out in line with current drawings, specifications, and Ardmac quality procedures.</li>\n<li>Inspect works regularly to confirm compliance with design and quality standards.</li>\n<li>Support the implementation of environmental management plans on all projects.</li>\n<li>Maintain professional site presentation, welfare, and housekeeping standards at all times.</li>\n<li>Assist in completing inspection records, snag lists, and quality checklists.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Commercial:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support the Project Manager and Quantity Surveyor in identifying and recording variations.</li>\n<li>Ensure daywork and cost records are accurately maintained and submitted for approval.</li>\n<li>Request materials in a timely manner to avoid project delays.</li>\n<li>Monitor labour allocation and complete daily timesheets and daywork sheets accurately.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications and Experience</span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Demonstrate experience in a supervisory role  within the construction industry, preferably in Pharma, data centre and or EVBF projects.<br></li>\n<li>Up to date SSSTS / SMSTS holder </li>\n<li>Demonstrate strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and project management software.</li>\n<li>Fluency in English</li>\n<li>Must be UK based with a willingness to travel </li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What We Offer:</span></p>\n<p>In addition to a competitive salary, Ardmac offers a wide range of employee benefits, including generous annual leave, professional development opportunities, a Christmas savings programme and a positive, inclusive working culture built on safety, respect and continuous improvement.</p>",
