We&#39;re committed to your growth and development, offering opportunities to advance and expand your skills within our spa and resort.</p><p><strong>Duties &amp; Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong></p><p>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</p><p><em>Guest Experience &amp; Service Delivery</em></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Welcome each guest with a warm, professional, and personalized greeting, setting the tone for a relaxing, restorative visit.</li><li>Perform a wide range of skincare services within the Advanced Practice Esthetician scope of practice, which may include:<ul type=\"circle\"><li>Advanced facials and treatment protocols</li><li>HydraFacial-type services&nbsp;</li><li>Advanced chemical exfoliation&nbsp;</li><li>Lymphatic drainage techniques</li></ul></li><li>Conduct thorough consultations, including skin analysis, lifestyle/contraindication review, and treatment planning tailored to guest goals.</li><li>Educate guests on skincare routines, product recommendations, and follow-up services to support long-term skin health.</li><li>Uphold service timing standards while maintaining a calm, unhurried guest experience.</li></ul><p><em>Safety, Compliance &amp; Professional Standards</em></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Perform all services in strict accordance with Minnesota Statutes/Rules for esthetics and advanced practice esthetics, including scope of practice limitations and infection control requirements.&nbsp;</li><li>Maintain proper sanitation and disinfection of treatment rooms, tools, equipment, and linens between every guest, following Grand View Lodge and Board of Cosmetology standards.</li><li>Review guest intake forms before each service; identify contraindications and adjust or decline services when appropriate, referring to medical providers when concerns fall outside esthetic scope.</li><li>Stay current with continuing education (CE) requirements and maintain active Minnesota Advanced Practice Esthetician licensure.&nbsp;</li><li>Adhere to all resort safety, emergency, and incident-reporting procedures.</li></ul><p><em>Retail &amp; Revenue Generation</em></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Recommend professional skincare products that support each guest&rsquo;s treatment plan and home-care routine.</li><li>Educate guests on product usage and benefits to drive retail sales in an ethical, needs-based way.</li><li>Promote add-on services, series packages, and return visits that genuinely benefit the guest and support department revenue goals.</li><li>Accurately track services, upgrades, and retail sales in the point-of-sale system.</li></ul><p><em>Teamwork &amp; Culture</em></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Collaborate closely with Spa &amp; Wellness team members, including massage therapists, nail technicians, and guest service staff, to create a cohesive, memorable guest experience.</li><li>Participate in pre-shift meetings, training sessions, and team huddles.</li><li>Support a culture of respect, accountability, and hospitality consistent with Grand View Lodge&rsquo;s values.</li><li>Assist with spa housekeeping tasks (laundry, stocking, room resets, refresh of guest spaces) as needed to ensure a clean, welcoming environment.</li></ul><p><em>Operations &amp; Administration</em></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Arrive prepared and on time for scheduled shifts and appointments; manage time effectively between services.</li><li>Maintain accurate, confidential guest notes and treatment records in spa software, as required.</li><li>Communicate schedule changes, equipment issues, and supply needs promptly to leadership.</li><li>Contribute to menu development and enhancement by offering feedback on service protocols, products, and trends in advanced esthetics.</li></ul><p><strong>Job Requirements:</strong></p><p><em>Required:</em></p><ul><li>Current Minnesota Advanced Practice Esthetician license in good standing (Operator or Salon Manager level, as appropriate for role).&nbsp;</li><li>Completion of an approved Advanced Practice Esthetics program (typically 500 hours beyond basic esthetics/cosmetology).&nbsp;</li><li>Strong knowledge of skin anatomy, cosmetic chemistry, advanced exfoliation, and energy-based modalities used within AP esthetics.&nbsp;</li><li>Previous experience performing facials and basic esthetic services in a spa, resort, clinic, or med-spa environment.</li><li>Excellent guest service skills with a professional, polished demeanor.</li><li>Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on resort business levels.</li></ul><p><em>Preferred:</em></p><ul><li>1&ndash;3+ years of experience as an Advanced Practice Esthetician or equivalent advanced skincare role.</li><li>Experience with resort or destination spa clientele and pace.</li><li>Familiarity with HydraFacial-type devices and other advanced modalities used at Grand View Lodge.</li></ul><p>#GVL</p></div>\n",
