You’ll work closely with a strong high school team of other ed specialists, behavior specialists, clinicians and families to ensure that each child’s individualized needs are supported.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Deliver developmentally appropriate, differentiated instruction across core subject areas</li>\n<li>Support foundational literacy, numeracy, communication, and executive functioning skills</li>\n<li>Create a classroom environment that promotes predictability, safety, and connection</li>\n<li>Implement visual supports, sensory strategies, and structured routines</li>\n<li>Lead the IEP process, including goal development, progress monitoring, and meetings</li>\n<li>Collaborate closely with aides, therapists, and families</li>\n<li>Celebrate student progress and encourage self-expression and confidence</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What You Bring</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>A valid California Education Specialist Credential (Mild/Moderate Support Needs or Moderate/Severe), or eligibility for intern status</li>\n<li>Experience teaching neurodivergent students, particularly those with autism</li>\n<li>A warm and grounded presence that supports regulation and connection</li>\n<li>Skill in differentiated instruction, behavior supports, and visual teaching strategies</li>\n<li>Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Ready to Apply?</span></p>\n<p>If you're ready to join a creative, compassionate school where students are deeply understood and staff are supported to grow, we’d love to hear from you.
