Brands supported by the CRVA include the Charlotte Convention Center, Spectrum Center, Bojangles Entertainment Complex, NASCAR Hall of Fame, Charlotte Film Commission, Visit Charlotte and Visitor Info Centers.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Facility Maintenance Technician assists in maintenance and repair in areas of electrical, structure buildup and teardown, and building maintenance at the Bojangles Entertainment Complex.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><ol><li><strong>Essential Job Duties</strong></li></ol><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>May assist in leading maintenance and repair projects at the Bojangles Entertainment Complex.</li><li>Works with team to ensure all setup is done to meet client and department expectations.</li><li>Teardown shows and cleans up areas for next scheduled event.</li><li>Maintains all equipment in facility that is part of the heating and cooling systems.</li><li>Ensures proper light set up prior to all events.</li><li>Coordinates with vendors on facility floor to ensure accuracy of detailed floor plans.</li><li>Assist Facility Maintenance team members with painting, carpentry, dry wall repair, etc.</li><li>On-call one week per month, as needed, to support event operations and/or facility needs.</li><li>May perform other duties as required.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><ol start=\"2\"><li>Consistently deliver the best in customer service. &nbsp;Model and be accountable ensuring that customers are always put first by living the CRVA Service Philosophy to deliver memorable customer experiences</li></ol><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;3. An appropriate license or professional certification is strongly preferred for Level 2 technicians. &nbsp; Level 2 technicians may also demonstrate a high level of proficiency in multiple disciplines listed below:</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Areas of expertise for the Venue Facility Maintenance programs may include, but are not limited to the following:</p><p>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Electrical &ndash; Works with electrical system from 480 volts up to 600 volts.</li><li>Plumbing Knowledge of commercial fixtures and all accessories.</li><li>HVAC (boilers and chillers)</li><li>Knowledge of Metasys building automation system</li><li>Ice Technician</li><li>Carpentry/Painting</li><li>Mechanical Trades (doors, locks, alarm systems, etc.) &nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Physical Demands</strong></p><p><em>&nbsp;</em></p><ul><li>The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds.</li><li>Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision. &nbsp;</li><li>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to handle or feel and talk or hear. &nbsp;The employee is frequently required to stand and walk.</li><li>The employee must regularly use power hand tools.</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Work Environment</strong></p><p><em>&nbsp;</em></p><ul><li>The noise level in the work environment could vary depending on the setting.</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Travel Required</strong></p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>This job requires travel between local venues.</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
