This position will require the <strong>Technician</strong> to work in a variety of environments, in a variety of functions, and frequently travel to customer sites.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>General Responsibilities</strong> could include:</p><ul><li>Disassemble and reassemble equipment for repair or transportation.</li><li>Construct and install equipment such as shafting, conveyors and tram rails.</li><li>Review and interpret engineering specifications, schematics, and blueprints to determine work procedures.</li><li>Determine which machines, techniques, and tools to use when moving equipment and completing jobs.</li><li>Use rigging equipment and cranes to position and secure large metal pieces</li><li>Use calipers and other measuring instruments to ensure precise measurements &nbsp;</li><li>Work with a range of hand tools including measuring tools, welding and brazing equipment.</li></ul><p><strong>Task Specific Responsibilities</strong> could include:</p><ul><li>Perform pipe threading and welding for plumbing and construction projects</li><li>Conduct inspections of welded joints to ensure quality and accuracy</li><li>Operate machinery and tools for cutting, grinding, and machining metal</li><li>Perform welding and soldering tasks to join metal components together</li><li>Read and interpret blueprints to determine specifications</li><li>Assemble and fabricate metal structures using various welding techniques</li><li>Read and understand plans and documentation to determine the scope of work, locations, quantities, and sizes of materials required</li><li>Layout, fabricate, and install pipe spools from spool sheets</li><li>Flame cut pipe to length and bevel, clean and prepare pipe for fit-up</li><li>Performs layout, rigging and transportation of pipe, valves and fittings</li><li>Threads pipe using threading machine</li><li>Bends pipe by hand or with pipe-bending tools and machines</li><li>Properly select and use manual, pneumatic, and electric tools according to tasks</li><li>Hoist equipment and tools into location via bull rigging or crane</li><li>Loads, transports and unloads material, tools, equipment and supplies&nbsp;</li></ul><h3><br></h3>",
