Responsibilities include:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Conduct psychiatric evaluations.</li>\n <li>Documents each patient encounter in the patient record, clearly and concisely, on the day the patient encounter takes place. Ensures that notes are cosigned in a timely fashion according to State of North Carolina regulations and/or BRCHS policy.</li>\n <li>Follows patient protocols as specified by BRCHS clinical policies. Consults backup physician when appropriate.</li>\n <li>Assumes responsibility for the care of patients in collaboration with center physicians.</li>\n <li>Utilizes patient care protocols in collaboration with the center physicians when providing medical care to patients.</li>\n <li>Educate individuals regarding the appropriate use of medication s and its side effects</li>\n <li>Prescribe, manage and monitor medications for BRCHS patients.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What We're Looking For:</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Graduate of an accredited school of nursing</li>\n <li>Master’s Degree in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing</li>\n <li>Certification in NC as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner</li>\n <li>Experience in an ambulatory care setting</li>\n <li>Maintain current CME and BLS certification</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>About Blue Ridge Health:</h2>\n<p>At Blue Ridge Health our mission is to improve Health, inspire Hope, and advance Healing through access to Compassionate, Affordable, and Quality Care.
