          "text": "<p>The incumbent leads and manages new product development projects in collaboration with cross-functional teams (R&amp;D, marketing, product, production engineering, procurement, service, finance, technical writing) through the entire new product development process.</p><p>&#xa0;</p><p><strong>Project management responsabilities</strong></p><ul><li>Manages low complexity projects (Mainly Mini-PDP/ETO/Sustaining Projects) as part of the New Product Development, Engineering to order, and Sustaining Processes ;</li><li>Coordinates and manages project schedule, budget, scope and quality ;</li><li>Creates and updates integrated project plan and financials in collaboration with subject matter leads and necessary department leads. Compares and adjusts project plan and financials based on historical database ;</li><li>Identifies, quantifies, and mitigates projects risks based on project team input and a list of generic risks;</li><li>Executes PMO deliverables and supports overall deliverables with all functions (Product Management, Engineering, Production engineering, Operations, Service, Quality, Supply Chain). Understands the intent of each deliverable ;</li><li>Collaborates in managing any changes in scope, budget, schedule and quality of a project. Works with appropriate stakeholders ;</li><li>Achieves product cost targets. Collaborates in mitigation actions to prevent impacts on product costs.</li><li>Collaborates in problem solving activities that affect one or multiple functions</li><li>Provides status reports with support from the core team members and requests milestone approval. Maintains project sites and documents weekly project progress.&#xa0; Makes sure the project data is accurate.</li><li><p><strong>Portfolio management responsibilities </strong></p></li><li>Supports to the execution of the Product Road Map Process<ul><li>Collaborates in financial analysis and planning activities ;</li></ul></li><li>Collaborates in the execution of the Technology Research and Development Projects Process<ul><li>Coordinates activities across functions;</li></ul></li><li><p><strong>General responsibilities </strong></p></li><li>Supports knowledge and experience sharing among PMO members;</li><li>Gets involved and actively participates in the development and implementation of a culture of continuous improvement by suggesting updates to Program Management Office training materials, templates and tools. Monitor key performance indicator trends to follow effectiveness of changes;</li><li>Collaborates in or manages organizational changes that enhance the business' agility. Projects that include business model and/or internal and multidepartment processes changes. Changes can apply to one or multiple sites</li></ul><p>Education and relevant experience</p><ul><li>Engineering or Computer Science Degree (Bachelor's or higher) or equivalent training and experience</li><li>At least 3 to 6 years of experience in managing new product development projects that have achieved commercial success and/or being part of the technical engineering team</li></ul><p>Technical skills</p><ul><li>Basic Knowledge of Project and SharePoint or similar applications</li><li>Basic Knowledge of different product development processes (Agile, Stage gate process, etc.)</li><li>Project Management Professional Certification or equivalent – An asset</li><li>Member of Quebec Order of Engineers (If applicable) – An asset</li><li>English level: Functional</li><li>Basic Leadership Skills. Aims to bring project team members out of silos to work together. Prioritizes workplace trust across the team</li><li>Basic to solid Communication Skills</li><li>Basic Change Management Skills</li><li>Basic Conflict Management Skills. Resolves conflicts within the project team.
