Job Summary: The Associate Director, Northern Region Complex Care and PSW Services provides strategic and operational leadership to deliver high-quality, person-centred care across multiple programs and locations. Reporting to the Director, Community & Health Services, the role translates organizational priorities into effective service delivery, ensuring strong program performance, quality improvement, financial accountability, and regulatory compliance. This role translates strategic goals into actionable plans, oversees daily operations, administers, supervises, coordinate staffing and ensures high-quality, person-centered services across multiple sites and service lines. L eads teams, manages resources, and collaborates with partners to enhance integrated care, address community needs, and drive sustainable, positive outcomes for clients and the organization. What You Will Do: Reporting to the Director (Complex Care and Personal Support Services), the Associate Director of Complex Care provides tactical and operational leadership for the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of complex care and PSW services. Strategic & Operational Leadership: Provide overall leadership for Complex Care and PSW Services, driving program strategy, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring high-quality, client-centered service delivery aligned with organizational goals and regulatory standards. Program Excellence & Performance Management: Lead continuous quality improvement, monitor outcomes and service performance, and ensure compliance with all policies, legislation, and accreditation requirements. Financial Stewardship: Oversee program budgets, support financial planning, and ensure responsible resource allocation aligned with organizational priorities. People Leadership & Talent Development: Lead, mentor, and support management teams; foster a culture of accountability, engagement, inclusion, and continuous professional development. Stakeholder & Partnership Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal leaders, community partners, government agencies, and healthcare providers to support integrated service delivery. Governance, Risk & Compliance: Ensure adherence to all regulatory, health and safety, and organizational requirements while proactively managing risks and strengthening operational frameworks. Program Operations & Service Delivery: Oversee resource allocation, client service coordination, and program evaluation to ensure effective, efficient, and responsive care. Community Engagement & System Collaboration: Represent the organization in external forums, develop strategic partnerships, and contribute to sector initiatives that enhance client outcomes. Equity, Inclusion & Culture: Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion, ensuring fair practices, inclusive environments, and equitable access to opportunities for staff and clients alike. What You Bring: Post-secondary degree in human services / health care or equivalent. Management experience of at least 7 years including: service delivery and program development, human resources and finance. Minimum of five years’ experience in direct service, relevant to the population groups Relevant leadership and program management experience within Complex Care and/or PSW Services environments. ​​Expert knowledge in the fields of at least one of the following areas: supportive housing, complex care, seniors, personal support services, mental health and substance abuse  ​Extensive knowledge of the social and health services field, including trends, community needs/issues, funding and grant sources, regulatory framework and front-line service delivery systems.  ​Experience supervising senior level staff and knowledge of management theory and practice with an ability to effectively manage staff on an individual and program team basis.  ​Broad knowledge of community resources, ability to establish effective relationships with external agencies, stakeholders and community.  ​Regular and reliable access to a vehicle​ Knowledge of unionized workplace environments and labour relations processes is an asset.  Work Environment: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
