Ride on the vehicle to assist the Driver while servicing customers on a designated route.<br>&bull; Operate packing mechanism and various levers and handles to activate the lifting and loading mechanism<br>&bull; Clean waste from the packer blade and truck body on each disposal trip; spray and clean the hopper and truck, if applicable<br>&bull; Follow all safety standards and wears the proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)<br>&bull; Attend and participates in all scheduled training programs, briefings, and meetings<br>&bull; Reports any incidents, accidents, injures, or property damage.<br>&bull; Courteously interact with all customers, dispatchers and others on a daily basis to ensure all customer routes are serviced in a timely and professional manner<br>&bull; Continuously monitor waste for evidence of unacceptable waste<br>&bull; Clean area around an accidental waste spill, ensuring adherence to all applicable safety standards and policies<br>&bull; Maintain adherence to required productivity standards for the department to ensure all customers are serviced in a timely and efficient manner<br>&bull; Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle, as well as the on the route and in the work area<br>&bull; Perform other job-related duties as assigned<br><br><strong>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS</strong><br>&bull; Minimum 6 months experience working in fast-paced environment<br>&bull; Exposure to working in all-weather elements preferred<br>&bull; High-energy individual with a strong work ethic<br>&bull; Ability to work in a physical demanding setting<br>&bull; Attention to detail and good time management skills<br>&bull; Strong interpersonal skills; ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with others<br>&bull; Ability to use good judgment to carry out detailed instructions<br>&bull; Must have reliable transportation (Good Attendance is a must)<br>&bull; Must possess basic mathematical skills<br>&bull; Basic computer knowledge preferred<br><br><strong>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS</strong><br>&bull; Required to use motor coordination with arm, hand, finger, and leg dexterity<br>&bull; Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move 75-100 pounds<br>&bull;
