The future leader will support the Release Train Engineer (RTE) by championing these practices.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Will quickly possess an understanding of Cotiviti and is adept at working across organizational boundaries partnering with Business Leads and Functional Product Managers while maintaining a strategic perspective regarding IT architecture and business needs.</li>\n <li>Drive, develop, and implement long-term architecture software strategy to ensure alignment with company performance objectives.</li>\n <li>Responsible for managing internal stakeholders as needed.</li>\n <li>Responsible for managing and evaluating staff performance for professional development of the staff members to include: conducting objective-setting goals, coaching, assessment, and mentoring activities. The Manager will have significant latitude in defining results, selecting alternatives, and acting across a range of products.</li>\n <li>Will have primary knowledge, control, and influence of IT decisions for his/her area of responsibility, including optimizing service costs through a mix of internal and external resources for all aspects of development. </li>\n <li>Working with the HIPAA Privacy and Security Officer and HIPAA Security Compliance team, ensuring all information systems and networks operate according to internal standards, external accrediting agency standards, regulatory agencies and legal requirements.  In coordination with key personnel, develop and implement the following plans:  disaster plan, emergency mode operation plan, backup plan, physical security plan, personnel security plan, access policies, and others. Ensure each plan is tested and revise plans as necessary to ensure data integrity, confidentiality, and availability. </li>\n <li>Hire, develop, coach, lead and retain top-tier talent, with a focus on building and improving a team and culture that is able to assist in employing best in class practices to support and drive high levels of internal and external customer satisfaction. </li>\n <li>Complete all responsibilities as outlined on annual Performance Plan. </li>\n <li>Complete all special projects and other duties as assigned. </li>\n <li>Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>This job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed and is not to be construed as an exhaustive list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required. This job description does not constitute an employment agreement and is subject to change as the needs of Cotiviti and the requirements of the job change. </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>BS. in Computer Science or equivalent.</li>\n <li>Strong strategic and tactical leadership, motivation and decision-making skills.</li>\n <li>Proactive with strong troubleshooting skills.</li>\n <li>2+ years of development experience utilizing Java Springboot and or Python.</li>\n <li>Experience working with streaming technologies such as Kafka.</li>\n <li>5 years of experience leading development projects using object-oriented development languages, ETL, or data warehousing, including team management.</li>\n <li>7+ years working knowledge of IT industry business operations is required.</li>\n <li>7+ years of strong design and development experience in area of software development.</li>\n <li>Preference of 3+ years of experience working in an agile environment with preference to an Enterprise Agile Framework such as SAFe.</li>\n <li>Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and follow up communication skills.</li>\n <li>Able to anticipate, identify, and resolve problems.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Mental Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Communicating with others to exchange information.</li>\n <li>Problem-solving and thinking critically.</li>\n <li>Completing tasks independently.</li>\n <li>Interpreting data.</li>\n <li>Making timely decisions in the context of a workflow.</li>\n <li>Maintaining focus.</li>\n <li>Assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned.</li>\n <li>Learning new tasks and completing tasks in situations that have a speed or productivity quota.</li>\n <li>Remembering and adhering to processes and protocols.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.</li>\n <li>Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.</li>\n <li>Must be able to provide a dedicated, secure work area.</li>\n <li>Must be able to provide high-speed internet access/connectivity and office setup and maintenance.</li>\n <li>No adverse environmental conditions expected.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em><strong>Base compensation ranges from $130,000 to $165,000 per year.
