The institution seeks to appoint a dynamic, strategic, and results-driven <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Chief Executive Officer (CEO)</span> to lead the organization into its next phase of growth and transformation.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Position Overview</span></p>\n<p>The Chief Executive Officer will provide overall leadership, strategic direction, and operational oversight of the institution. The CEO will be responsible for driving profitability, ensuring regulatory compliance, strengthening corporate governance, and enhancing the institution’s market position in Zambia’s financial services sector.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide strategic leadership and implement the institution’s vision, mission, and long-term objectives</li>\n<li>Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency, profitability, and sustainability</li>\n<li>Ensure full compliance with Bank of Zambia regulations and other applicable laws</li>\n<li>Lead financial performance management, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control</li>\n<li>Strengthen risk management, internal controls, and corporate governance frameworks</li>\n<li>Build and maintain strong relationships with regulators, shareholders, investors, and key stakeholders</li>\n<li>Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing executive management team</li>\n<li>Drive innovation, business growth, and market expansion initiatives</li>\n<li>Represent the institution at high-level industry, government, and public engagements</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Minimum Qualifications &amp; Experience</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Master’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA or equivalent) and/or relevant professional qualification (e.g. ZICA, ACCA, CIMA) will be an added advantage</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Minimum of five (5) years’ proven working experience in senior leadership or executive management within a financial institution</span></li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of Zambia’s financial services regulatory environment</li>\n<li>Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, financial management, and corporate governance</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Competencies &amp; Attributes</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong strategic and analytical thinking skills</li>\n<li>Exceptional leadership, decision-making, and people management abilities</li>\n<li>High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct</li>\n<li>Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills</li>\n<li>Ability to deliver results in a dynamic and highly regulated environment</li>\n<li>A competitive salary shall be offered</li>\n<li>Good understanding of the following accounting standards;<br>(i) IFRS – International Financial Reporting Standards<br>(ii) IAS – International Accounting Standards</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">How to Apply</span></p>\n<p>Interested and suitably qualified candidates should submit:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>A detailed curriculum vitae (CV)</li>\n<li>A cover letter outlining suitability for the role</li>\n<li>Copies of relevant qualifications</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Applications should be clearly marked <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">“Chief Executive Officer”</span> in the subject line and submitted on or before</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">5 June 2026<br><br></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><em>Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.</em></span></p>\n<p> </p>",
