Job Description: We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Minneola Long Term Care. As an integral member of our nursing staff, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents by providing exceptional care and support. Responsibilities: Provide direct nursing care and supervision to residents in accordance with established policies and procedures. Assess resident health status and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary healthcare teams. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and monitor resident responses. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation. Assist residents with activities of daily living and ensure their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs are met. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care. Promote a safe and supportive environment for residents and staff, adhering to infection control protocols and safety guidelines. Provide education and support to residents and families regarding health conditions, treatments, and preventive measures. Qualifications: Current RN licensure in Kansas Previous experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing preferred, but not required Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards residents and their families Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities Commitment to maintaining resident confidentiality and privacy Supportive work environment with opportunities for growth and advancement Testimonial: "I started working at Minneola Long Term Care in the fall of 2018 as a PRN nurse.
