This role will lead the delivery of complex survey and mapping projects, provide operational oversight of technical teams, and support the continued growth of our Survey and Geospatial Practice.</p>\n<p><strong>What You'll Do:</strong></p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\">&nbsp;The Senior Project Manager – Mapping is responsible for leading the delivery of complex survey and mapping projects while providing operational oversight of mapping staff and technical workflows. This role ensures successful execution of projects in alignment with scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards established by Michael Baker.&nbsp;</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\">This position also plays a key role in client management, business development, and staff leadership, supporting the continued growth of&nbsp;Survey&nbsp;and Geospatial Practice.&nbsp;</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\">Project Delivery &amp; Management&nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead and manage survey and mapping projects across public and private sector clients&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Ensure successful delivery of projects in accordance with defined scope, schedule, and budget&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Develop and maintain project work plans, schedules, and resource forecasts consistent with internal PM processes&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Monitor project performance, proactively identify risks, and implement corrective actions&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Oversee coordination between field, mapping, and engineering teams to ensure integrated project delivery&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\">Technical Leadership&nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform and oversee:&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Boundary analysis, research, and computations&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Preparation of final maps, parcel maps, records of survey, and ALTA/NSPS surveys&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Legal descriptions, exhibits, and plats.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Provide technical oversight and QA/QC of mapping deliverables to ensure compliance with standards and client requirements&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Ensure adherence to internal QA/QC practices and standardized workflows for consistent, high-quality deliverables&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\">Operations &amp; Team Leadership&nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide day-to-day&nbsp;directions&nbsp;to mapping staff, including&nbsp;balancing workload, staffing, and mentoring&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Coordinate with Field and Mapping Team Leaders to ensure alignment with policies, procedures, and production goals&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Support development and implementation of best practices, tools, and standardized processes&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Mentor staff in technical skills, project delivery, and career development&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\">Client Management &amp; Business Development&nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Serve as primary client contact for assigned projects&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Identify and pursue new work opportunities, including internal collaboration across service lines&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Participate in proposal development, scope definition, and fee estimation&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\">Quality &amp; Financial Performance&nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintain accountability for project financial performance, including:&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Budget tracking and forecasting&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Labor and expense management&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Schedule adherence&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Conduct project audits and quality reviews to ensure compliance with company and client standards&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Support continuous improvement of project delivery performance and profitability&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>What You Need to Succeed:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>&nbsp;Minimum of 15&nbsp;years of&nbsp;survey-related&nbsp;experience&nbsp;with increasing levels of responsibility&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Professional Surveyors Registration in California is required&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Be outgoing and organized, as well as possess strong project management and operational management skills&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Ability to network and build relationships with current and prospective clients&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential to success in this role&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Experience in boundary analysis, computations of ALTA and topography surveys as well as perform quality control of&nbsp;survey plans, record plats, descriptions, and review of title commitments&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Ability to provide guidance and mentoring to staff in the growing survey practice&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Compensation:</strong></p>\n<p>The approximate compensation range for this position is&nbsp;$116,727.00-163,362.00.&nbsp; This compensation range is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.&nbsp; Actual compensation is dependent upon factors such as education, qualifications, experience, skillset, and physical work location.&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Why Choose Us:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Medical, dental, vision insurance</li>\n <li>401k Retirement Plan</li>\n <li>Health Savings Account (HSA)</li>\n <li>Flexible Spending Account (FSA)</li>\n <li>Life, AD&amp;D, short-term, and long-term disability</li>\n <li>Professional and personal development</li>\n <li>Generous paid time off</li>\n <li>Commuter and wellness benefits</li>\n</ul>",
