In this role, you will play a critical role for the company and will work alongside other professionals within the team and other departments.  You will be responsible for procuring and distributing the parts inventory.  This position handles service department parts orders and distribution to shop personnel. Whether it’s custom-built vehicles or alternative fuel and electric vehicle (EV) options, you’ll have a partner from challenge all the way through solution and beyond.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What You Will Gain</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Competitive benefits including health insurance, paid holidays, and vacation pay</li>\n <li>Continuous training to provide you the opportunity to develop your full potential and be a true business partner</li>\n <li>Access to an expansive network of mentors and networking opportunities</li>\n <li>Top quality technology to assist in your daily responsibilities to allow for more efficiencies to deliver outstanding customer service</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>Below is an overview of the duties and responsibilities you would take on in this role:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Research the cost of parts from vendors for specific units needed for retail orders</li>\n <li>Issue all PO’s authorized by Back Parts Counter operations</li>\n <li>Pull required parts and relieve on work order in Excede</li>\n <li>Distribute parts to assigned technicians</li>\n <li>Review parts request from Service Writer and assigned technician to give parts status updates</li>\n <li>Have an intermediate understanding of how to cross reference parts and how to create part substitute relationships</li>\n <li>Have an intermediate understanding of inventory management/understanding stocking levels</li>\n <li>Have an understanding how the Core return and credit process works and can perform these duties with some supervision</li>\n <li>Have a basic understanding of how to cross reference parts</li>\n <li>Perform all other duties as assigned by your supervisor</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or equivalent</li>\n <li>2-4 years’ parts counter experience</li>\n <li>Some automotive parts counter experience and basic automotive knowledge</li>\n <li>An intermediate understanding of the parts that they will need to order and how/where to acquire parts required by our service department</li>\n <li>Computer skills:  MS Excel, MS Word, Outlook, Teams, and good typing skills</li>\n <li>An intermediate understanding of mechanical/parts aspects of vehicles</li>\n <li>Complete assignments in a timely manner</li>\n <li>Demonstrates exceptional workmanship</li>\n <li>Works well as a team member and demonstrates leadership qualities</li>\n <li>Good communication skills</li>\n <li>Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as product markups and discounts, proportions, and percentages</li>\n <li>Detail oriented, highly organized, and responsible</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be able to lift, push and pull a minimum of 50 pounds</li>\n <li>Will be required to do frequent kneeling, stooping, squatting, crawling, and climbing to perform multiple tasks of position</li>\n <li>Must have good manual dexterity</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em>Company retains the sole discretion to change the duties </em>of the position at any time. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>#LI-DNI</p>\n<h2>Pay Range</h2>18 to 30 an hour",
