This role ensures accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with safety standards.</p><p><strong>Knowledge and Skill Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up/reach truck, or turret truck).</li><li>Beginner proficiency in computer skills and Microsoft applications.</li><li>Ability to follow instructions and maintain accuracy in inventory handling.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Qualification(s):</strong></p><ul><li>Order Picker Forklift experience (cherry-picker, case-picker).</li><li>Experience with computerized inventory management systems (SAP).</li><li>Previous logistics or warehouse experience.</li></ul><p><strong>Education Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma or GED required.</li></ul><p><strong>Essential Job Functions:</strong></p><ul><li>Perform material handling and warehousing functions including receiving, storing, moving, packing, and shipping.</li><li>Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.</li><li>Use computer systems for inventory tracking and order processing.</li><li>Maintain accurate records and follow standard operating procedures.</li><li>Support daily logistics operations and meet productivity goals.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Leadership Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>This position does not include supervisory responsibilities but requires adherence to safety standards and teamwork to support warehouse operations.</p><p><strong>Preferred Experience and Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum 12 months of forklift experience.</li><li>Numerical reasoning aptitude for inventory and order processing.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.</li></ul><p><strong>Physical and Mental Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods.</li><li>Ability to perform repetitive operations.</li><li>Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 35 lbs.</li><li>Must pass company physical and drug screening.</li></ul><p><strong>Work Environment:</strong></p><ul><li>Warehouse environment with exposure to moving equipment and varying temperatures.</li><li>Requires use of PPE and adherence to safety protocols.</li><li>Standard work schedule with overtime as needed.</li></ul><p>Most work is conducted in a comfortable office environment but exposure to site conditions may also occur. Personal protective equipment must be worn in areas as required.
