The Senior Accountant will support the financial operations of eight locations which produce the highest quality coolant filtration products for industrial manufacturing &nbsp;and expertise that spans the agricultural industry with a focus on wet and dry milling. Working with employees at these locations, they will be responsible for the financial reporting, accounting, and banking activities of the Industrial/Agricultural segment. &nbsp;This newly created position results from Komline&rsquo;s continued growth and will be based in our Washington, DC office.</p><p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Reporting to the Controller of the Industrial/Agricultural segment, the Senior Accountant will support the monthly financial close processes for all entities in this segment, helping to ensure accurate and timely results</li><li>Prepare journal entries for accounting-related activities such as Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), cash, payroll, fixed assets, inventory, prepaids, intercompany, credit cards, month-end accruals, and etc.</li><li>Review Income Statement and perform variance analysis</li><li>Review Balance Sheets and prepare reconciliations in FloQast with proper supporting documentation</li><li>Assist with sales, use, and income tax returns and payments</li><li>Correspond with corporate staff, subsidiaries staff, auditors, inquiries, and other parties</li><li>Ad hoc tasks, reporting, or projects as assigned by Controller of Industrial/Agricultural segment</li><li>May assist with treasury matters including transactions and reporting</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting</li><li>5+ years of accounting experience</li><li>Experience completing month-end closing process and variance analysis</li><li>Proficiency of Microsoft Suite products such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel (including creation of pivot tables and VLOOKUP)</li><li>Work with multiple Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)/accounting software packages and assist with ongoing Microsoft Dynamics 365 integration projects</li><li>Effectively communicate verbally and in written documentation</li><li>Prioritize projects to meet business deadlines</li><li>Ability to travel up to 25% to designated business units</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Skills</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Manufacturing Industry experience</li><li>Experience in a multi-entity organization</li><li>Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation</li></ul><p><strong>Equal Opportunity Statement:</strong> Komline is an EEO Employer- M/F/Vets/Disabled</p><p>&nbsp;</p></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
