Optimize Staffing & Scheduling: Evaluate staffing needs, adjust work schedules, and manage workforce assignments. Resolve Transportation Issues: Communicate with customers and employees to research and resolve routing, hauling, and delivery challenges. Control Costs: Monitor outside hauling usage, overtime expenses, and allocate transportation costs to the appropriate departments. Provide Training: Schedule and track employee training, including online courses (Pure Safety, Dealer Performance Center, etc.). Ensure DOT Compliance: Confirm driver completion of BIT inspections, review logbooks, and ensure adherence to vehicle maintenance schedules. Manage Documentation: Collect vehicle inspection reports and submit required documentation promptly. Maintain Safety Standards: Promote a safety‑first culture; ensure all accidents or injuries are documented quickly and accurately. Conduct Performance Reviews: Evaluate employees, complete PADS reviews on time, and hold EOS feedback meetings to create action plans.
