TEC truly offers the convenience of one-stop shopping for all trucking-related needs.</p>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The Trailer Logistics Specialist is responsible for coordinating the movement and analyzing the inventory of the company’s trailers. This role involves overseeing the delivery of trailers from manufacturers to final destinations across the company’s footprint, as well as managing customer deliveries. The Specialist utilizes strong organization, process management, and relationship-building skills to effectively track inventory, communicate with brokers, and ensure timely deliveries while managing damaged claims.  Additionally, the Specialist is responsible for analyzing data and implementing strategies to optimize trailer movements, reduce freight costs, and enhance freight protection. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Oversee and direct the delivery of all trailers moves from suppliers and to customers to maintain day-to-day operations.</li>\n <li>Act as the liaison and negotiator with carriers, insurance, and service while fostering business relationships.</li>\n <li>Analyze and record quality, quantity, delivery times, transport costs, and efficiency of trailer moves.</li>\n <li>Correspond with carriers, suppliers, management, and sales teams on all logistical details.</li>\n <li>Input, monitor, and upgrade logistics software.</li>\n <li>Use data analysis from the logistics software to find optimal efficiency needed to move trailers.</li>\n <li>Identify potential risks and challenges in trailer moves, such as delays, damages, or compliance issues, and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.</li>\n <li>Maintain accurate records of trailer movements, delivery schedules, and associated costs.
