Orders, performs and interprets diagnostic procedures.</li>\n <li>Provides and documents direct treatment and management of health conditions.</li>\n <li>Provides counseling and education of patients and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options and community resources.</li>\n <li>Performs preventative health assessments, screening, immunizations and care.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What You Will Need</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Credential(s):</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Licensed Physician Assistant credentialed from the Alabama Board of Medical Examiners obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.</li>\n <li>BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date.</li>\n <li>Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Education:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program.</li>\n <li>Master's degree preferred.</li>\n <li>1 year of experience preferred. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Additional Preferences</h2>\n<p>No Additional Preferences</p>\n<h2>About UAB St. Vincent’s</h2>\n<p>UAB St. Vincent’s, a proud part of UAB Medicine, is a trusted provider of health care, serving Alabama for more than 125 years.
