In this role, you will manage purchasing activities, ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, and maintain relationships with vendors. You will be responsible for managing inventory and ensuring that all maintenance-related purchases support the operational goals of the facility operating within budget. The ideal candidate will have experience in procurement and knowledge of maintenance operations, with a strong ability to manage supplier relationships and optimize purchasing processes.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>WHAT we need you to do.</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Oversee the procurement of maintenance-related materials, spare parts, and equipment for the plant, ensuring timely delivery to meet operational needs.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Monitor inventory levels of maintenance supplies and materials to ensure availability while minimizing excess stock and storage costs.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers, negotiating contracts, pricing, and terms to ensure competitive pricing and reliable delivery.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assist in managing the maintenance purchasing budget, tracking spending, and implementing cost-saving strategies without compromising quality or operational efficiency.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Confirm that all purchase orders are accurately created, tracked, and processed in a timely manner to prevent delays in maintenance operations.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ensure that all purchasing activities comply with company policies and industry regulations. Provide regular reports on purchasing activities, budget status, and inventory levels.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Identify opportunities to streamline purchasing processes, reduce costs, and improve the efficiency of the overall procurement process within the maintenance department.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Work closely with the maintenance and operations teams to understand their material needs and ensure alignment with overall plant goals.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Complete other work as assigned</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>WHAT you need to possess.</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">High School Diploma with 5 years&#39; experience</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">A self-motivated, adaptable go-getter attitude</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Familiarity with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems and purchasing software, with the ability to manage purchase orders, inventory, and vendor information efficiently.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Proficient in written communication</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong prioritization and problem-solving skills</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">High attention to detail</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Physical Requirements:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to lift up to 15 pounds as needed.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Occasional walking and standing in plant areas.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><span data-teams=\"true\" data-pasted=\"true\">&nbsp;<em><strong>Agave Wire is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
