Join our growing team supporting customer missions as a <strong>Cloud </strong><strong>Software Engineer</strong> in <strong>Herndon, Virginia</strong>.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Develop, build, and optimize systems for data collection, storage, access, and analytics at enterprise scale</p></li>\n <li><p>Make data available, accessible, and secure to all stakeholders</p></li>\n <li><p>Develop robust and resilient data pipelines to connect data sources to analytics tools</p></li>\n <li><p>Analyze data sources for accuracy, data prioritization, and apply appropriate logic to developed solutions</p></li>\n <li><p>Work with various team members to craft solutions to requirements and/or help refine the requirements for implementation</p></li>\n <li><p>Enumerate the necessary datasets and design the data model and schemas to support the requirements</p></li>\n <li><p>Provide platform support, including problem solving and debugging, for production issues</p></li>\n <li><p>Coach junior team members through the Software Development Life Cycle process</p></li>\n <li><p>Follow the deployment procedures and standard operating procedures utilized by the team</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications:   </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>7+ years’ experience in application development, software engineering or data engineering</p></li>\n <li><p>2+ years’ recent practical (applied) experience with Python</p></li>\n <li><p>Experience with ETL, data transformation and data pipelines</p></li>\n <li><p>Experience taking data collection requirements and translating those requirements into implementable solutions</p></li>\n <li>Demonstrated experience optimizing connectivity between cloud-based services and on prem high performance cloud compute servers.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated experience with DevSecOps solutions and tools.</li>\n <li><p>Demonstrated experience in the Software Development Life Cycle to include debugging, testing, and deployment to different environments</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Desired Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience with Database Management, SQL and/or PostgreSQL</li>\n <li>Experience with Linux</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What you can expect from us</h2>\n<p><em>BCore is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.
