As Digital Content Manager, National News, you'll collaborate with our team of talented journalists to strengthen storytelling, innovate responsibly and grow our digital reach by using data to inform decision-making. You will report to the <span class=\"cf0\">Sr Director Digital Content and Strategy.</span></p><p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type:disc;padding-left:48px;\"><li>Lead, coach, and empower a national digital team, fostering collaboration while stepping in hands-on to execute when needed.</li><li>Build a strong, supportive culture grounded in optimism, empathy and accountability for excellence.</li><li>Guide teams through industry change with confidence—building trust, maintaining momentum and driving results through transition.</li><li>Communicate with precision and structure, ensuring clear plans, aligned priorities and effective coordination across teams.</li><li>Use analytics and performance data to shape editorial strategy, strengthen coverage and grow audience engagement.</li><li>Combine creative vision with execution, innovating new approaches to national storytelling and digital growth.</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type:disc;\"><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">5 years of experience in a professional newsroom</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">At least 2 years experience leading a team of journalists</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">This is an in-office position located at our station in Pittsburgh, PA</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Flexibility to work different shifts (including overnights, nights and weekends), holidays on short notice to cover a 24-hour news cycle</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Related military experience will be considered</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">In-person attendance is required</li></ul><p><strong>Values in Action</strong></p><p>At Hearst Television we tell stories every day.
