This role is ideal for candidates with a 2-year electronics or engineering technology background who are comfortable working with lab equipment, executing test procedures, and accurately recording results.<br><br><strong>How you will make an impact as a Electronics Test Technician:</strong><ul><li>Execute electrical and functional tests on electronic assemblies and finished products</li><li>Set up and operate test equipment including oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and spectrum analyzers</li><li>Follow detailed test procedures and document results accurately</li><li>Support engineering teams with validation, verification, and debug activities</li><li>Record and communicate test results and anomalies</li><li>Assist with failure analysis and root cause investigations</li><li>Assist in the development and improvement of test procedures and fixtures</li><li>Maintain test equipment calibration and ensure proper lab practices</li><li>Perform regular maintenance and verification of test equipment, ensuring optimal measurement performance and accuracy</li><li>Support testing at external contract test laboratories by transporting and setting up the device, monitoring functionality and communicating with test laboratory personnel</li></ul><strong>Skills you will need to be successful:</strong><ul><li>Associate degree or technical certificate in Electronics Engineering Technology, Electronics Technology, or related field</li><li>Basic understanding of analog and digital electronics</li><li>Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documentation</li><li>Experience using standard lab test equipment (DMM, oscilloscope, power supply)</li><li>Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills</li><li>Attention to detail and ability to follow structured procedures</li><li>Collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively within interdisciplinary teams, contributing to product development and continuous improvement processes</li><li>Highly self-motivated with strong time management skills, consistently prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail</li><li>Excellent communicator, capable of clearly explaining testing objectives, procedures, and results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders</li></ul>Physical Requirements<ul><li>Ability to sit or stand for extended periods</li><li>Manual dexterity for handling small electronic components</li><li>Occasional lifting of test equipment (up to 50 lbs)</li></ul><p><strong>About DEKA:</strong></p><p>One hour from the beach, Boston, and the mountains, the historic Amoskeag Millyard once housed the largest textile mills in the world.
