This exciting ownership positions us for continued impacts and growth in the future.</p>\n<h2>Essential Functions & Responsibilities </h2>\n<p><strong>Industrial Electrician </strong><strong></strong>As an Industrial Electrician you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing and modifying electrical devices and systems associated with feeder / branch circuits and over-current protection. </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times</li>\n <li>Troubleshoots and repairs electrical and electronic equipment such as motors, switches, timers, transformers, power rectifiers and photoelectric sensors </li>\n <li>Operates equipment and tools to complete work such as cutting, threading, bending conduit, removing and replacing conduit, fittings, and junction boxes </li>\n <li>Installs and connects distribution and utilization equipment components; ensures safety codes and National Electric Codes (NEC) are met prior to installation</li>\n <li>Draws, reads and interprets electrical schematics and one-line diagrams </li>\n <li>Conducts weekly / monthly calibrations as required by regulatory agencies</li>\n <li>Serves as an active member of the Plant Emergency Response Team (PERT); ensures electrical shutdown in case of an emergency</li>\n <li>Operates forklift or similar machinery as needed </li>\n <li>Maintains an understanding of and adherence to related State and Federal rules for waste management </li>\n <li>Utilizes the appropriately required personal protective equipment (PPE), as this position works around hazardous materials </li>\n <li>Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Education </h2>- High-school diploma or equivalent (required) - Certified Electrical Journeyman -OR- an Associate degree in an electrical related field (required) \n<h2>Experience</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>3+ years of experience as an electrician (required)</li>\n <li>Previous experience working with PLCs (preferred)</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Benefits, Compensation & Workforce Diversity</h2>Arcwood offers competitive pay and bonus incentives.
