You will play a pivotal part in driving efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and strategic alignment across the procurement function.</span></p>\n<p><span>You will report directly to our <strong>Procurement Manager,</strong> and you will work out of our <strong>Northford, CT</strong> location on an <strong>On-site</strong> work schedule.</span></p>\n<p><span>In this role, you will impact the successful execution and delivery of procurement projects by leveraging your expertise in project management, cost savings, and process improvements across our procurement operations.</span><br><br><span><strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Oversee procurement projects from initiation to completion, including supplier selection, negotiations, contract management, and delivery, ensuring projects are executed within scope, budget, and timeline.</span></li>\n <li><span>Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify and mitigate supply chain risks specific to NPI, including single-source risks, capacity constraints, and long lead-time material dependencies.</span></li>\n <li><span>Lead Sourcing Activities: Own the end-to-end sourcing process for all new components, materials, and services required for NPI projects.</span></li>\n <li><span>Cost Management: Create and manage cost models, targeting cost reductions throughout the product lifecycle, especially during NPI.</span></li>\n <li><span>Negotiation: Handle RFQs and competitive bids. Negotiate pricing, lead times, inventory, and SLAs.</span></li>\n <li><span>Contracting: Draft, review, and manage supply agreements, NDAs, and SOWs with Legal.</span></li>\n <li><span>Supplier Readiness: Oversee part qualification (PPAP/FAIs) and confirm suppliers meet volume and quality standards.</span></li>\n <li><span>Contribute to the development and execution of the organization's procurement strategy, ensuring alignment with cost-effectiveness, quality, and supplier diversity goals.</span></li>\n</ul>",
