Our reach extends across 55+ distribution centers and thousands of retail locations in the U.S. and Canada ensuring that we deliver the right door for every opening – from homes to businesses and beyond.</p>\n<p>By joining our team, you become part of a legacy that blends the residential elegance of Clopay, known as \"America’s Favorite Garage Doors,\" with the industrial strength and 180-year heritage of our rolling brands, Cornell and Cookson.  Together, we secure everything from family garages to the world's most iconic stadiums and skyscrapers.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We currently have an opening for a Quality Engineer in our Troy, Ohio, location. </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p> Responsibilities include:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead continual improvement by promoting quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization.</li>\n<li>Develop, implement, communicate, and maintain a quality plan to bring the Company’s Quality Management System and Policies into compliance with the ISO 9001:2015 international standard.</li>\n<li>Communicates with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to implement process improvements and monitor effectiveness. </li>\n<li>Work with the supply chain to establish, implement, and audit quality requirements for external suppliers.</li>\n<li>Manage and maintain the Company’s quality inspection and product release programs for raw materials, components, and finished goods through receiving, in-process, and finished goods.</li>\n<li>Perform inspection and testing of stamped, machined, split steel, injection molded components, and final assemblies for conformance to design and configuration requirements.</li>\n<li>Assess the product specifications of the company and its suppliers, and compare with customer requirements.</li>\n<li>Define quality procedures in conjunction with operating staff.</li>\n<li>Liaison with our customers’ quality team and internal and external auditors.</li>\n<li>Ensure the execution of corrective action and compliance with customers’ specifications.</li>\n<li>Drive the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) and perform the responsibilities associated with the Management Representative.</li>\n<li>Support production areas to meet quality specifications by managing quality improvement projects.</li>\n<li>Identify potential quality risks and take a proactive approach to eliminate the risk.</li>\n<li>Lead/advise assembly quality staff in analytical approach for root cause analysis and problem solving.</li>\n<li>Ability to read and understand drawings/measure parts to confirm parts meet specifications.</li>\n<li>Research the latest mass production manufacturing technologies.</li>\n<li>Provide engineering support to operations, ensuring consistent application of quality techniques.</li>\n<li>Determine when process stability and capability studies should be performed on existing processes. Review and analyze results. Recommend changes to processes based upon findings and perform follow-up to verify effectiveness.</li>\n<li>Coordinate pre-launch production trial run process monitoring.</li>\n<li>Participate in the development of Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).</li>\n<li>Maintain Control Plans and FMEAs throughout the life of the part.</li>\n<li>Apply appropriate use of statistical techniques.</li>\n<li>Determine and apply appropriate Measurement System Analysis tools.</li>\n<li>Recommend and implement enhancements to the quality system that result in improved corporate quality performance, increased customer satisfaction, and/or simplification of processes to reduce costs.</li>\n<li>Oversee the controlled document system, to include a final review of all changes to procedures, work instructions, forms, master lists, and other associated documents to ensure quality certification requirements are met.</li>\n<li>Manage quality metrics and present findings and recommendations to the management review team.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Job Requirements:</span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.</li>\n<li>ASQ Certification (Quality Auditor, Quality Engineer, Quality Improvement Associate).</li>\n<li>Lean Six Sigma Belt.</li>\n<li>Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Statistical Software.</li>\n<li>Knowledge of tools, concepts, and methodologies of QA.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>",
