Anesthesia Support Technicians are present within the operating room to troubleshoot anesthesia equipment malfunctions and to route non-functional equipment to the proper department for repair. They also maintain immediate availability of anesthesia equipment and supplies to assist in routine and emergency procedures. It is the responsibility of the Anesthesia Support Technician to clean all anesthesia equipment according to schedules and as needed.
